I'm at pLvl 12 and currently farming act 3. I'm at work now and can't wait to test my luck again today. I got 3 legendaries (1 sucked) and 2 sets.

These are some of the good items i got.
I might end up selling the legendary helm I have and go back to my old helm. I'll throw a nice topaz in it to gain the xp quickly.
Okay sounds about right then. I'm getting close to plvl 4 and have 1 legendary that is really good. I've been farming mostly act 2 and a little of act 1.

Actually you need a ruby which costs quite a fortune nowadays. I've been gaining XP quickly because of the bonus XP from # of monster kills or objects destroyed lol.
I still have yet to find a single legendary.

Not sure who's playing Witch Doctors, but I'm trying to get my first one up to level 60 (I'm at 55 now). While I was in Nightmare pre-1.04 my pets were starting to turn to mush, but post-patch they seem nearly indestructible. Even the dogs. Could be that my gear is decent (I have a few good reduced level req. pieces), but they are so good in hell I don't even need to use passives to buff them. I rarely even see their health tick down except in champ + elite battles. That will surely change in Inferno, but I have hopes now that they might actually be viable if they get to use my armor/resists/life.

Some people find legendaries every day, it's crazy. I've found 5 in 250 hours or so, no set pieces, all worth next to nothing. That was pre patch though, so their worthlessness was expected. Now finding a legendary would be 100x more awesome because they actually have worth.
Heard someone bought a bow for 2 billion gold, did a lot of crit damage at stock plus two sockets I guess, and like 1400+ dmg.

Basically they made it so the pets can only ever take a max hit of 10% of their full health I think. There's no such thing as one-shotting a zombie dog now - it takes at least 10.

Ignoring passive Life regeneration, this means each Zombie Dog will always be able to take at least 5.5 hits (21,200 [Life] / 3850 [damage])
How does one get 2 billion gold? I've never had more than 1.5 mil
Well I gave a try to the patch for a few hours on my Barbarian and Wizard so far (both Level 60). I'm still only in Act 1 Inferno with my Wizard, but I can do some (key word, some) Act 3 on my Barbarian. I have a good feeling overall, the patch seems to bring my interest up a notch for the game, the changes I've seen and tried are definitely good. I feel that the way the game is now is just about how it should have been at release, and had it been like that since day one there wouldn't have been that much of a negative feedback during the first weeks.
I'll keep playing occasionally, but it's better than not playing at all. I can say now that I am having "more" fun, but I don't know... there's still something missing. It might be that the game is so linear and story-driven or... the maps are small and confined, or the enemies are almost always the same or... I'm not sure can't quite put my finger on the culprit(s) but it sure as Hell doesn't feel as addictive and fun as... well, as Diablo 2 was.
That, or I'm just getting old.
