I think DHs only want like 2.2 APS right?

So, I crafted like 200 shoulders. Got ONE with 189 str, 318 vit and AR. Not bad, but could be better.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems more difficult for a monk. Need these (my preferential order): dex, IAS, CC, CD, resist (of choice) and/or AR, life %, LoH, vit. My problem is I have 0 PuR with my selected legendaries/sets, so I need that on my shoulders. Every time I roll decent stats it doesn't include PuR. I'm really at a loss since I won't settle for less! :/

I finally managed to make a HF ring with IAS on it and man was I happy even though it had lightning on it and I'm poison. /facepalm

Doesn't matter since IAS = everything for a monk.

Now I just need IAS on my gloves and I'll be awesome. ^^

You only need 2.01 APS on a monk in order to keep Overawe up every 3 seconds. Anything more is overkill really. I'd focus on cc / cd / dex / resist / armor / vit. Having LS on both weapons helps, but getting an EF with LS and a socket is rather expensive.

LoH and LS scales well with AS. Getting two weapons with LS means you are practically invulnerable so long as you're not standing directly on an arcane orb. But if you can't afford it, then try to have at least 700+ LoH and get more than 2 APS so you can sustain through tough stuff.

Your best stat will be crit, then AS, then CD, then dex. Try for 600 AR and 40k hp.

I haven't run the numbers, but IAS doesn't really help much. Most DHs use spike traps with echoing fury for damage, and that just has a timer. You can plant 3 (or 6 with a passive), and then they take a second to arm, and then explode three times with a delay. Your damage rate is dependent on the timer and how many you can place at once (and to a lesser extent, your hatred), but not on APS.

IAS will help you regenerate hatred faster, and if using bola - bitter pill, will help you regenerate discipline too.

I don't know what the percentages are. It doesn't say and I am too lazy to figure it out.

Ya, I don't just spam overawe. I spam cyclone as well, so the ~2.8 APS (average between main and off) is absolutely awesome.

My build is primarily active based, meaning I stay alive by spamming abilities because I don't have much LoH and LS. It's more fun for me that way.

Oh, the buff was MF and GF. It popped on my screen while I was in game at exactly 12pm and I was like, wtf is this? I'm not sure how much it added, but probably around 25ish.

It is 25% multiplicative to MF and XP. It also goes beyond the cap (for MF). That is what the link above says. Sadly, I just got home from work and am going to bed... 15 hour day is horseshit!

I took a screenshot of it. I thought the tooltip said MF/GF and not EXP. I'll check when I get home. Either way, I only got to take advantage of it for like, 1 hour unless it'll last for 24 hours - then wee!

Edit: It was MF/Exp. And I wasn't able to read that link, but it lasts until the 21st. That's awesome. ^^

Nice, I'm glad to see it's going on through the 21st. I only really have time to play on the weekend and figured I missed it yesterday.

Too bad I don't play this anymore. Got very repetitive and boring after hitting max level, and now with the AH issues / over priced items, decided it was time to call it quits.

HAHAHAHHA they nerfed drops? Are you kidding me? Just played with that bonus thing, with MP on, and did some al kaizer runs....even with 5 stacks of NV I was getting all blue drops. Saw maybe 12 rares the whole time. Haven't played in a couple months, definitely done with this worthless piece of trash. Will never buy another game from this company again. I like that the people that are still playing now are pretty much the 'blessed' few who actually found items. Worthless trash

I love how you exaggerate the lack of drops. Go pretend D2 had good drops and it was such a wonderful game.

I got 3 legendaries in the very small crypt of the ancients a few weeks ago. It took about 7 minutes to do.

They were all shit legendaries, but I did get them.

That's some serious bad luck...I've never gotten less than 1 inventory full of rares each Alkaizer I've done, usually much more than that, and that is even with MP off and no MF gear...

Legendaries, that's a different story, I don't remember the last time I had one drop. Months ago...(I don't play that often though).
