no, i don't have a copy already.
I had like 2 items that amazon considers add-on items, items where its not cost efficient to ship by themselves, so you have to spend at least $25 to order them.
I've wanted to play Diablo 3 for awhile but it was also too expensive, so when i saw it for $20 i bought it as part of that $25 so I could get the add-on items
Ooooh....I see now. Makes sense.
Did you buy D3 vanilla or did you get both D3 and RoS? You'll want RoS even if you're starting out new. All the fun stuff happens once you hit 70.
As far as tips for a new beginner, each class is fun in its own way. I recommend just picking one and start campaign mode on normal. This way you'll be able to get used to the interface and skills of the class you picked. There are basically 3 melee characters and 3 ranged characters.
If you like playing with other people, sometimes it's hard to find other group members via public games when at low level. You might have a better chance joining a clan, like ATOT and have group up with those folks.
Don't worry about lack of gold or mats when starting out, you'll eventually pick up plenty of both as you play more. You may not have too much when you first hit 70, but it will come eventually.
All in all, you can't really mess up anything starting out. Just run through the campaign once on normal so you can get a feel for how it is. Obviously if it's too easy, crank up the difficulty as needed. Once you hit 70, you'll be able to run Adventure mode and do bounties/rifts which is where you'll find the most end game gear.
