There's about 0 chance anyone got banned for solely flipping itemss.

There have been quite a few from what I understand. Something about RMAH is not be used as an investment engine.

Actually a few threads on the D3 forums and reports are that blizzard isn't allowing the RMAH to be used as an investment tool.

Whether its true or not who knows. I just know there are reports.

So flipping items (as in buy then immediatly place on ah) has possibly had a few people banned.

However, once you own the item like 24ish hrs and have had it "in game" (via placed in stash) it no longer can be considered flipping as you may just be selling an item as you found an improvement on it.

Well there were also "reports" of people getting session hacked left and right that everyone 'knew' was 'true' just a few weeks ago as well.

I think, for the most part, if you consider the opposite of whatever is being said on the D3 forums to be true you can't really go wrong.

Notice how all of the reports of 'my account was hacked' suddenly stopped? As if some exploit were patched and it no longer worked.

what are the stats needed as a DH and as a MONK to be able to farm Act3 Inferno? anyone knows?

Oh that's awesome. Always thought the 1.00 FLAT fee was super ridiculous.

That flat $1.00 is completely stupid since most items go for <$5.

Commodities at 15% + Paypall 15% are more reasonable.

Need an opinion.... Low 50's Glass cannon here.
Would you give up 1300 life to upgrade Damage, by 132, 9% chance to find Magic, and another not so important stat ( I forget what it was) BUT (And here is my issue) it regens 57 health per sec.
If I live for 23 secs..... Its a wash. SO far, not getting one shotted like I read here, but I know its coming. STILL having huge Vampire/Reflection mob issues. But thats because I suck at playing LOL...
Last night was a rather enjoyable session for me. Spent a LOT of time bargain hunting in the "Gold" auction house. I bought these pants.... Not sure if I made the right choice.
There I am with the calculator, crunching numbers; "OK, if I stick that gem in, I get 27 life points per point'.... Very enjoyable session. A nice diversion from kiting, trapping, going invisible. .
Any word on if they will show the +/- on an item you are looking at, for that toon you are using when AH shopping. Having to write down EVERY stat/perk and THEN go shopping..... Seems wasteful. And they KNOW who you are using because it "Populates" your toons class.

So I'll keep plugging along with my DH (I can run through act 1 and die a few times along the way, but get owned in act 2 pretty good right now), but I'm thinking of starting a witch doctor as a new character.

Login information drawn off other hacks/websites is a finite resource. Not to mention golds' price has dropped pretty dramatically making it a much less lucrative target, so there's not nearly the incentive there was just a few weeks ago either.

FYI you don't have to ONLY kite, trap, avoid with a DH. The way I got to 60 was basically:

Primary: hungering arrow
Secondary: webshot
1. caltrops
2. marked for death
3. fan of knives
4. rain of vengeance (stampede)

See some baddies, drop a caltrops, mark them for death (12% more damage), run back, drop another caltrops, and unload with webshot. When they get close, hit rain of vengeance and the flying guys will knock all the bad guys back. Keep unloading with webshot and hit hungering arrow to build up hatred again.

When the bad guys get close again, let them get right up to you, then hit fan of knives to mow them all down. Run away, dropping a few caltrops along the way, and then repeat.

ugh, i hated WD. i only made it to like, mid 30s and gave up.

personally, my favorite class so far is monk. god, i love playing on my monk.
DH was pretty awesome to play, but monk for some reason is soooo much more fun!

I find being on a Barbarian and using Leap into a huge group of enemies to a second later Cleave their heads off is just very cathartic. Monks can be fun if you have the Dash ability bound, but I ended up removing it.

I find being on a Barbarian and using Leap into a huge group of enemies to a second later Cleave their heads off is just very cathartic. Monks can be fun if you have the Dash ability bound, but I ended up removing it.

cyclone strike + lashing tail winds = pure awesome fun. i dont use dash. i make those fvckers come to me!! hahaha

my barbarian is only like, lvl 10 or so. it is fun, but i just like monk better...

I did a few hours of farming last night and only found 1 or 2 items remotely worth selling on the AH (and they are <50k gold items). I usually find way more than that. And every level 63 item I find is complete turd - worse than the ilvl 60-62s that I find.

I put my 2nd lot up of 2.7m about an hour after my 1st lot sold. I assumed that hour would have had a lot of people ahead of me but it still sold around 8:30pm est, I put it up around 5ish? My first lot sold nearly instantly when I put it up right after maintenance. When did you put yours up?

My dh last night got elemental with the lightning bulbs (at least think that's what it was). Proceeded to then faceroll till I started to fall asleep while playing. A shame that this spell probably wont be valid in later difficulties cause its pure win.

I just realized I could buy lots of gold from the chinese dude and turn it over on the RMAH and make about $5 for every 10million in gold. Probably more since I could get it in bulk for less money.

Buy 100 mill and turn it over for $50+ really quick

Maybe people doing this are the ones getting banned. Like that one dude that just posted saying he got banned after making $1500

Someone posted the part from the EULA on the battlenet forums a while ago. Blizzard can ban you for using it as an investment engine.

I bought and sold gold and I was flipping items on the AH. I think the gold thing got be banned cause I didn't want to pay 2.50 per m on the RMAH and just used 3rd party sellers. They hit me really quick too I was in the middle buying some gold and I got DCed.

Oh well 1500$ is 1500$ now moving on to GW2. Not paying for D3 again, not worth the 60$.

Latest notes on drops is that the amount of MF you have will possibly yield a higher amount of affixes on the item dropped. Wearing 0 MF farming act 3 and you see two affixes? This is the issue. Go farm Act 1 and load up on MF to get a higher amount of affix possibilities.

lvled my WD to 60 last weekend. bought 1.3mil worth of gear and face tanked entire act 2. yes, on WD. lol
