My A3 run starts with the kill ghom quest

Start at stonefort wp and clear both areas
Then clear breached keep to ghom and continue on through the entire act

I skip barracks and icefall caves but I do enter caverns of frost since it tends to be small and can contain up to 5 elite packs.

The whole thing takes as low as 40 mins if I don't die, maintain wotb, and don't hit any forks on the way which happen a lot in arreat 1 which requires me to double back. Most times, it takes about 50 mins to clear on avg.

you run too fast though. sometimes you miss goblins or stray packs, and occasionally you'll miss drops because stuff dies off screen.

I know... Bliz is looking to add an in game warning for drops. For the time being, I can't be too concerned with what I may or may have not missed. When I start to second guess myself, it'll slow down the pace. It's ok to miss a goblin or a pack when the focus is on efficiency and speed.

When I used to do A3 fully doubling back to explore uncharted areas that I had missed as a result of going in one direction over another as well as picking up every piece of loot I can find, the run took at least 90 mins to 2 hrs to complete. At those completion times, I ultimately decided I'd rather run through A3 twice and any loot(legendary or otherwise) I may have missed would have been made up by those I did pick up as a result of having done an extra run. I'm pretty certain I've probably missed some rare i63 drops and legendaries by now but I've also gotten 33 due to the speed with which I've been running A3. And who's to say I would have had slightly over half that instead if I had went for completeness. I do stop to see what champ packs drop so any loot missed would have been from trash mobs.

Plus the xp is way faster doing quick runs. Hit paragon 55 yesterday.

LoH/crit/crit dam/LS/primary stats are all cumulative. Aspd/+bonus damage only apply to the weapon they are on.

Are you certain life steal is cumulative and not exclusive to the weapon it's on? I know everything else is, but haven't really seen if LS is first hand.

This game is pretty much ONLY worth playing multiplayer. And there are always people to play with for all quests, all difficulties.

Not if you want to exp quickly. I've laid out timed runs and calculated the best way to exp and gold farm, and doing A1.7+ with cain's exp suit on is faster than any public game I've been in this far (by 170%+). Granted, public games usually aren't as boring, but playing solo you don't have any chances at being partnered with special needs players, leechers, or douches that are intent on going rogue and diminishing the exp returns from the run for everyone else. >.<

So how much resistances and armor you guys think we need to handle the highest monster level?

i'm guessing 1k+ all resist. 6k+ armor. 50k+ hp. something like that.

It's easy to reach the last 2 items you mentioned. However with the warcry nerf, it will be challenging to reach that number without sacrificing too much dps.

I'm at 500 AR unbuffed, 110k unbuffed DPS, 7k armor unbuffed w/ follower, and maybe 64k life if i decide to take off mf gears and leave the ruby gem on my helm. I'm aiming for the hardest difficulty.

Looking at the MAX AR rolls, the max you can get for AR without Amulets,Rings,Shield is 640. If you factor in the new warcry impunity (+20% resistances), thats around 768 All Resist. I also know that if you add in individual resistances then this number can go higher. MAX AR you can go is around 930.

I haven't found a legendary in a long time, and still have never found a good legendary /whine

I run act3 with about 290% MF, guess I need the full 375%. Been farming a ton this last month. Someone on my friend list found 3 set items yesterday >_< - I've still never found a set item (green) (/double whine). Maybe in the next 300 hours. I just need that one jackpot find so I can get my monk some nice stuffs, right now he does too little damage.

It's all about luck bro. I found some greens without 300 MF before, and recently i haven't seen drops (legendary/set) even when running at 300MF with NV.

I found a Skorn last night out of the blue... I had blown 108m on an 730dps offhand with near 300 str, 100 vit, 94%CD, 2.8%lifesteal and socket. Went into A3 to test it out, killed a gobbie with full NV stack and behold a orange 2h axe drops.

1380 dps
446 str
164%CD
99.9% to bleed 6k-12k
socket

So since one thing led to another, I could think of it as finding my own upgrade since I wouldn't have went on the A3 run had I passed on trying to win the offhand.

This was my 35th legendary I think. I also found a sky splitter 2 hours earlier.

I just started playing about 2 weeks ago and I finally found my first legendary two nights ago. It was only a ring, band of hollow whispers. Nothing fancy, but a decent upgrade for me.

I'm still in Act 4 Inferno, so i haven't quite gotten to the point where I can farm.

Yep~ dropping i think like 60 mil today for pants. For the extra movement speed.
Also trying to find better weapons for spirit regen.

Those are nice stats too, sadly i cant afford 100m gear, but I jumped the gun and bought a decent offhand with lower stats for 25m.

If i remember its something like:

The 840dps axe I won for 35m last month actually, it's great but I have no loh/ls on either of my weapons and I'm trying to get some and loh is way more expensive. Crazy how much a premium ls/loh adds.

Yeah, hopefully i can resell when i get a chance to upgrade to a better one. I want a 300 str one too
