First question for Wizards: Which rune is best for energy twister?

I'm currently using the Storm Chaser but wondering if I should use the rune which reduces the AP to 20 (more tornadoes on screen) or gale force (up the dmg to 468%).

Second question: I'm using energy armor with the prismatic armor rune. Should I switch to the +5% critical hit?

right now storm chaser. It has a 0.5 proc rate versus the 0.125 proc rate on wicked wind. Post 1.05 wicked wind would be better because its easier to aim and will get more hits.

If you have over 550 base resist + crit is useful.

The storm chaser works great, I use that one for my cm wiz.

Your WD has some pretty nice gear, yet you're only showing 28k dps....is that a bug? I would think your gear would give you much more than that.

WD using zombie bears do a bit more dps than the white paper calculation if you control your bear casts well to have each of the three bears hit one target for 240% weapon damage.

Damn... 62k elite kills? I've raped an dpillaged Act 1 endleessly and only have around 30k, but I'm only at plvl 36.

I've been farming a lot But no amount of farming can compensate for the shitty drops i've been getting recently lol.

So I changed my skills a bit last night with wizard.

Replaced wave of force with familiar (with +12% dmg buff rune) and changed the energy armor prismatic rune with the +5% Chance to Crit and I gained about 8k dps overall. I'm at ~61K dps which isn't bad, but still would like to hit 100k.

I need to get used to not being able to use wave of force now. Still need to probably buy some better gear from the AH to hit that 100k mark but I only have 18M gold atm. Will most likely wait till 1.05 patch to see how prices change.

Prices should fall through the floor. Initially legendary prices might spike a bit, just because a lot of people who have been taking a break will come back to the game, but rare items are going to crash. Playing at MP1 will make almost all armor pieces potentially good and slightly improve the number of good weapons. Farming rates will also probably improve so there's just going to be more stuff in circulation.

The only thing i look forward to the patch is the fixed mempo of twilight and some new affix rolls in jewelry. Aside from that, its the same game with scaled 1-10x HP based on Monster Power.

Initially legendary prices might spike a bit, just because a lot of people who have been taking a break will come back to the game, but rare items are going to crash. Playing at MP1 will make almost all armor pieces potentially good and slightly improve the number of good weapons. Farming rates will also probably improve so there's just going to be more stuff in circulation.

The prices will drop but they won't crash. You still need to roll perfect affixes + near perfect rolls for the items to be worth using. I'm anticipating the jewlery prices to crash but most well-rolled rare items will still be valuable like they are now.

Legendaries and sets on the other hand I'm looking forward to.

I just really hit 60 on my wizard and have like 30 million to spend on items. I have looked at different builds and am not really sure what I should be buying to try to farm.

You guys have any ideas?

I was playing my level 51 HC Barb in Act 1 Hell. I had just cleared an area and for some reason decided I didn't need to TP before I minimized to look at something in Firefox. This is the result. I'm. So. Stupid. To add insult to injury, I had just spent about 1 million of my 1.7 million gold on upgrades for Hell. 25-30 hours of play time down the drain for this dumb-dumb.

The slots that should really drop is Amulets and rings. Other slots should lose some value, but not much initially.
What you're going to get is a bunch of more crap that needs to be vendor'd. Getting a nice rolled weap/armor pieces will still take time.

Gotta kill fallen maniacs fast before they blow. They have very little hp so it's generally not to hard.

Anyone using ATI Graphics? Any stuttering issues?

This sucks ass, i recently upgraded to i5 with 7850 and there's heavy stuttering(slow down/slowmo) but the in game FPS counter shows 60 fps.
