No CD is a little bit of a bummer, but it's still a pretty nice pair of gloves for a wiz/WD. That's a lot of INT.

I found 1 set item over 400 hours and only 1 unique worth a damn over the same period.

Although I have been just doing A1 runs the last few days, clearing the full thing. Upping my paragon level, and collecting gold. Want to get up to like 10M and then upgrade something on my barb, maybe get a different shield, or better ring. I have a stormshield but they apparently suck dick.

May try doing full A2 clears since I roll that pretty easily too

Mine does that too and i'm on 6850 1920x1200 full screen windowed mode. I ran full max and also tried medium and low. It only does it on certain sections of the map. A lot other users report same issues running Gefroce cards too.
I don't think it has anything to do with your drives.

i5 2500k
16gb ddr3
128 crucial m4
2 x 2 tb sata
sapphire 6850

So i tried various settings over the weekend, and i found this to work best for me:

Using 12.8 Cat Drivers
Uncheck MAX Foreground FPS
Check VSync
in D3Prefs.txt, modify Hardware Class from 6 to 1

It's smoother overall, there are still some occasional hiccups here and there but i'm sure its due to poor code optimization. No reason to have issues with this game when the system is more than capable of handling other resource heavy games out there.

YOu think it's viable now to roll a barb ? Mine's already lvl'd but it's just a matter of gearing him up.

Given that Barbs are powerful with the current patch and 1.05, it still depends on which class type your having fun the most.

Everything that is OP will get nerfed eventually.

I went from a 125kdps archon wizard to a 93kdps dps barb and I farm much faster. The run speed buffs he gets is just ridiculous. On top of that I only spent about 5mil combined on my jewerly since I'm waiting on the patch so he'll only get faster. He also survives easier compared to the archon even though my archon had 7k armor and 850+ AR when buffed.

What's funny is between the initial patch note release and now I leveled then geared him. I went back and read the patch notes last night now that I actually know the names of the skills and what they do. It's silly how much they refined and buffed the barb where the wizard gets side line or neutral changes.

I agree, Sprint and WOTB makes the Barb very powerful, however the increased MP and nerfed Run Like the Wind rune will tone that down a notch. Patch 1.05 seems to favor party play if you want to farm higher MP levels efficiently.

Hopefully it does. I can try farming gear for a day on monster power 1-3 on my monk and see if i can get some gears. Tried MP5 and rares were dropping like crazy.

So i never got into the PTR, have you had any issues with MP 5 -7? I'm aiming for at least MP 7 because i think it's much more efficient than farming MP 10. I'm at almost 140k unbuffed DPS with decent stats overall.

Well if you profile me hujaz#1759.

I ran MP5 and it was basically running 1.0.3. I rather run MP1-2 quicker than run mp5. the % of the special drop is negated by the additional runs i'd make for the amount of time it'll take me to run mp5.

That or I can just upgrade my gear some more to push about 100k dps and run mp5+

Did you try MP5 with the gear you currently have equipped? I see a sunkeeper and some MF items. I'm not really familiar with monks, but from what i can see you should easily reach 100k dps unbuffed with crit damage + socket weapons. Natalya boots and ring alone is godlike.

Yep with my MF spec. I have a WKL that I switch off to for DPS. gives me like 71-75k on paper dps, but should be more like 85-95k cuz it's a high roll wkl.
5/25 with 250+ dex and 90% crit gem.

Sounds good.. will have to test the patch to see how my gear stands. Hopefully i get lucky with drops, coz I really haven't seen good drops for weeks. -.-

Hooray for this patch finally. Though, I'm curious to see how badly my monk will get slapped around with the Seize the Initiative armor bonus reduction. Anyone tried it out on PTR?

yea you won't notice it until you go mp5 or above
