What's so good about the Mask of Jeram? The set bonuses look interesting, but the item itself looks fairly normal....

I finished getting my Witch Doctor to 70, and then I went through and completed the campaign. I got that awful Zodiac ring from Malthael. (It gives your primary stat + every other stat, but about 1/5 of the amount!) I also got this terrible spear that's designed to only roll with 1-2% crit chance (changing that to +7% attack speed gave me a +7% boost). So, it seems like I got some of Diablo III's most troll-worthy gear within an hour.

The Mask (and I can't click the link at work) is the one that gives pets +50-100% more damage. Stacking that with physical damage and the knife that gives you fetish army a CD reduction and you can basically just spam pets in T6. Throw in an SoJ and a few other +elite damage +elemental damage items and you're incredibly OP. You get basically a 65 second CD (before the knife reduction) fetish army + 5 dogs + a big guy all with your +physical and +total damage from Jeram. WD is probably the easiest class to get into T6 right now, with barb pretty close behind (taking a few more pieces of gear).

Don't forget about tasker and theo and probably stacking fire and using wrathful protector for the gargantuan. With no jeram or tasker, and very little + fire damage from just my mage glove, my garg crits for 30m.

I don't know if the poison runes on dogs and gargantuan translate to their attack damage, but I do pretty well without Jeram right now using pets and acid bomb. My corpse bomb crits for like 5m and I can pretty much spam it.

Gidbin spawns fetishes for free, zuni 4 set keeps them alive forever. The gidbin fetishes aren't as good as the fetishes that are called in though.

Finally got a single RRoG. AS/CD/LoH/.... and Int. It's not bad enough to re-roll to Dex for my monk but not good enough to just use it anyway lol.

The hunt continues, though I think the honeymoon is about over at least as far as playing solo goes. I still enjoy doing rifts with my friends but I can only 'farm' so much.

The game is pretty fun in a group. I mostly want to level up a couple of chars now though and not sure anyone wants a lowbie tailing them since most at max are doing torment rifts/bounties.

Yea playing in a group is pretty fun. We had some cool rift runs the other night where there were so many particle effects on the screen it looked like the 4th of July. But solo though I think I'm starting to burn out. Not progressing much on upgrades with my Wizard and it's frustrating. I will probably get my DH to 70 (51 now), then I'm not sure if I will keep playing much.

I actually prefer to farm solo. The XP is less than in groups, but I don't have to wait for people or worry about people doing other stuff, etc. It is also generally quicker because I do whatever level I can go fast in.

Lupi, if you need someone to run with, you can join me whenever. I don't particularly mind you being undergeared.

Since most of our Diablo names don't match our AT names, who is everyone? I've figured out lupi, Aikouka, and TallBill, but after that I have no idea.

I think what kept me running D2 was the bosses dropping uniques, like playing a slot machine. I think making everything a "world drop" made for a lack of direction while farming. You just kill kill kill and...well hope a random mob or a barrel drops something.

Been having a pretty solid past 2-3 days.

Playing about 3 hours per day broken into chunks. Got probably 20 legs with 3 of them being set items.

Nothing great, but did get a tal rasha chest (3rd piece of set for me), a mirrorball from kadala (only 1 extra missile though, so will still keep searching), a Nat's helm and some STR items that i'll keep for other chars.

I'm trying to transition into a fire build.

I haven't gotten anything good the past couple days. I am on my 3rd Warmonger... I don't want a shitty 2 hander. They should just be removed from the game altogether.

Replaced all of my legacy IK stuff with lvl 70 pieces... Now the hunt begins.

Some people may hate me, but I've gotten 2 mirror balls both with +2. One was a mid 60's while leveling and another 70 shortly after hitting max level.

Nerfing whatever's popular is Blizzard's way of artificially lengthening end game by forcing players to find different gear.

I'm wondering how long it will take for Blizzard to nerf my fire Monk!

If it isn't a Torment-only weapon, then yes.
