I got my first legendary that I've actually seen people talk about wanting - the Unity ring, lol.
Should I be spending paragon points on run speed or should I be putting them into my classes primary stat instead? I've seen that run speed is really important, but more important than say Dex for a Monk?
I've been putting them in run speed for awhile now since my run speed wasn't very high with gear, but it seems like i should be putting them in Dex instead.
Maxing out your item run speed should be your primary concern, for any character at any level prior to dumping more into DPS specs. Movement is crucial and once you have 25%, you'll feel like it's crawling at any slower.
I use the Warzechian bracers (speed burst after destroying objects) and run with Mantra of Conviction: Annihilation (30% speed bonus after killing monsters) when I'm solo. My philosophy is you have to be able to get to the next pack of monsters as fast as possible, otherwise you're wasting a lot of time doing nothing.
When I'm in a party, it's likely that others won't be using the bracers, so I swap to Strongarms for the bonus damage (which affects everyone).
When you guys are running rifts do you go for full clear or just run from elite pack to elite pack and once those are done, restart?
Because most of the pugs I have joined just run from pack to pack and then close the rift quickly once the boss goes down. Really annoying to me because I have found 2-3 legendaries from breaking pottery, etc.
I prefer full clears, usually, but it depends on the rift. I'm all about maximizing the time spent killing monsters for more legendary drops. It annoys me when in pugs people rush to the boss and then close the rift when it's a
really dense rift. There's still a bonus to finding legendaries in rifts, so I break everything and kill almost every single monster (as long as it's not far out of my way). You're really just wasting keystones if you're not clearing as much as possible. Granted, there's plenty of rifts that are low density and don't have much to break. Those, I close as soon as I get the boss killed.
If I kept track of where I found my legendaries, a pretty large portion would be from pots, small chests, and those dead villagers that were amazing at venturing too far from the safety of their hometown.
Also, just tossing this out there in case there are those that don't know, but Rifts aren't that great for exp unless you have a pretty good group mowing through a higher Torment level. Running split bounties on a higher difficulty is far faster in exp.
Run Rifts for loot and bounties for exp.
