I guess it's possible, but I highly doubt that most people would figure out how to get the silver skull on The covenant on their own Even the gold skull on floodgate is kind of hard to figure out.

I have all the skulls, but I looked online, mostly because some of the skulls are in crazy places that I never would have found on my own.

There are also other requirements for some of the skulls, which means that even when you get to the skull location it may not be there..

i played the through onnormal heroic and legendary, befoe i started going for skulls and acheivements

i found 7 of the skulls doing that,the easy ones like blind and the ona on the last lvl and such

went online for the hard ones like floodgate and the IWHBYD

Cowbell Skull Effect: Explosions become much bigger in the game.

Cowbell Skull Location:

The ?Cowbell Skull? is found on the level ?The Ark?, and marks the third Silver Skull found in the game. It?s fairly far into the level, so it takes a bit of time to find it.

Begin by heading all the way to the part of the level where you battle the Scarab. After defeating it, look in the middle of the desert area which you battled it in for a fairly large structure (it?s the building you see if you are at the bottom of the ramp you are supposed to go up, and turn to look in the opposite direction). Inside of this structure are several Gravity Lifts (shown below). Take one of these for later.



Next, head up the huge ramp, and head inside of the building (the one with the cartographer inside). Pass through a few of the rooms in this building, and you?ll eventually come to a room with a whole lot of Explosive crates. Right after this room is a Staircase/Hallway that leads to the level below. The Skull is located at the top of the room, at the point where you turn on the staircase to head for the next part of the slope. There are four platforms above you, the Skull is on the uppermost of these platforms. Use the Gravity Lift to jump up to it, and there you have it!

those two are pretty easy to get, you just have to play through basically the entire levels to get to them.

the IWHBYD skull is easy to do by yourself but it helps to have at least 1 other person to speed up the process.

ive read that theres more then one sequence that works, i did the really long one, took like 8 min, just kill everything before you do it includeing truth, not really that hard, i got it on my 2nd try

It is so annoying that you lose experience for quitting social matches. Isn't that the whole point of playing unranked games? What sort of idiotic idea was it to lose experience for quitting a social match where everyone is betraying each other anyway?

It's the last one i need now. I just tried it a few times but i didn't kill truth so maybe that is the problem

With the exception of GHII, all the games ranked ahead of Bioshock have strong multi-player components. Because of that, I can see the ranking of Bioshock dropping because there is no constant replay value there despite being a fantastic single-player experience.

Well, Bungie.net says there were 64K unique Halo 2 players the past 24 hours. Halo 3 had 1,573,791, if that's puts things into perspective.

you can boot people that continually betray you.

It only makes sense to lose experience. Why quit? In Halo 2, (and 3 in ranked I believe) it keeps track of if you win or lose the match even if you quit out.

I encourage people losing EXP in ranked and unranked. It's really frustrating when the match starts and everyone quits immediately except me, leaving me to face the other team 3vs1

I was looking over all the multiplayer medals available over at halo3medals.com, and there are some in there I will never get. I'd like to eventually get one of each, but I don't forsee doing it.

Chris, I was looking at your profile this morning for no particular reason (was going through some people on my friends list), and I noticed you had 1 of each medal for up to 20 consecutive kills without dying....I assume all three were gotten with the same match, but how did you manage to do that? I also saw you had the medal for atleast 15 kills and no deaths in a lone wolf match....another medal I will never get.

However, I've been doing fairly excellent in multiplayer recently, getting up to a rank of 10. At the beginning of the weekend I had a 0.79 kill to death ratio, and by the end of last night, I've moved it up to 1.10 or so. I've been playing with my brother mostly, who has gotten surprisingly good over the weekend. I think that with myself, my brother, and a couple of the better players on here, we could win quite a few matches in team slayer if we wanted.
