So does anyone know why they changed the look of the little flood critters? In the original Halo, they were puffy little things, in Halo 3 they are more like spiders with feathers hanging. Is there a reason for this, or am I just completely overlooking something?
evolution
Over a few month's time? I couldn't find any documentation on the approximate date that Halo 3 ends, but not much time passes between the beginning of the first game and end of Halo 3. Is this explained in the game somewhere that I missed?
While I was, um, taking care of business earlier , I was rumaging through the magazine stash in the bathroom. I pulled out the December 2006 issue of EGM, where they previewed the multiplayer. It looks like High Ground was originally designed with a gate that needed to be opened to allow vehicular access to the upper base. All I've played is Team Slayer, where there is no gate. Is the gate present in any modes, or did they just simply decide to take it out? I think it would've added a nice dimension to arguably the best map in Halo 3.
