Somehow, being in Bronze Division means I get matched up with Silver / Gold players more and more often. I suppose I am on the verge of ranking up again. Maybe the initial placement was a fluke. I wish the system was a little more transparent however. I'd like to know exactly where I stand.

I agree, it does get confusing at times.

If you're matching up against Silver/Gold then you are in the upper tier of bronze. If you keep beating those people, then you will become Silver. I get the feeling that the more wins you have in a row, the higher it'll keep reaching for harder opponents and the faster you will rank up.

I don't have huge win streaks, but I am in the top 4 most games. Not to say I don't have bad games, but the majority of mine have me in the upper 4.

Yeah, I played against a Lt. Colonel this past weekend. I'm seeing lots of Majors popping up as well (then again, I'm a Captain Grade 3 and partway towards Major).

Warrant Officer is actually the hardest rank to get through...not sure why they made the credits line up like that.

Very true. I'll admit, I've played quite a bit but that's trying to knock out every daily challenge and such I can.

Wow, 7 multikills in a single match. Almost finished in a legit Team Arena game! Had to end up getting it on multi team Swat (had like 10 by the game end).

I played a slayer map last night for the first time playing online. I got dead last with 5 kills. I just suck with the controller and wish there was a mouse/keyboard combo to use. I did have to increase the look sensitivity from 3 to 6 which helped a lot, its just not intuitive to use a small thumb based joystick to aim at people and be precise.

Flaming Head = You purchased the Limited Edition of the game.

BTW, one of today's challenges is broken and impossible to get (ATM). You're supposed to survive 3 rounds without dying in a Firefight Matchmaking game, I played 3 games w/o dying and got nothing. There's apparently a big thread on the Bungie forums about it.

All of today's challenges are Firefight-based and combined they're worth a ton of Cr's):

• One Spartan Army - Get 400 kills in FF Matchmaking (2000)
• Be Their Huckleberry (name win!) - Get 40 kills with the pistol in FF Matchmaking (900)
• Going Outpostal - Get 100 kills on Outpost in FF Matchmaking (800)
• Bulletproof - Survive 3 rounds in an FF Matchmaking game (1200, broken)

Gotcha. They look kind of cool, but I've seen a few people with them trying to camp in sniper maps. Doesn't exactly work when your head is a floating beacon

yea someone told me that it was for beating the game on legendary. which would have been nice as i plan on doing that this weekend

i seriously tried to add new game variants, but ultimately failed for unknown reasons. perhaps someone out there in the halo universe knows how to add other gametypes better than i and will bestow upon us the gift of 18 player big team battle on the boat! slayer modes work great as the spawn points have been fixed. weapon spawns and balancing has been done. that is some things were removed and some added. add some more scenery however there isnt much of a budget left ($95 forge monies i think).

thanks to the few who did manage to be online when i was and joined in the very quick test runs. input was seriously helpful and implemented. overall im satisfied enough to birth this one out to public. have fun.

Bungie has fixed the broken daily challenge.

"Some of you noticed that today's Daily Challenge, Bulletproof, was so challenging that it was downright impossible. It's all better now. Instead of completing three insurmountable rounds in Firefight Matchmaking without dying, all you have to do is finish one with zero deaths. Good luck!"

Guess not. I know you get some good achievement points for it, which are used in Halo Waypoint to unlock other armor and helmets. There are also Avatar awards unlocked for different things so it might unlock one of those too.

I will have to check this out when I get home. It looks great though. I really hated the map on CoD, but for some reason I think it would work well in Halo. Especially for CTF.

Shipment will be good for FFAs or KotH, I bet.
