i dunno about that. a second crashed plane. maybe a cover up by the airline. a hit (?) team on the island. a crate with gas masks and some sort of biological something. the six story line being moved along. maybe some new insight to the island coming up.

Uhh, Someone asks baldy where he's taking the survivors, he says "to the Cabin", Hurley says "Cabins this way dude" pointing in opposite direction, Baldy wants to know how Hurley knows where the Cabin is, Hurley covers his tracks by saying "I mean the Airline Cabin.

ben got ahold of a gun and shot the chick "boat other".

Lock was like "wtf" and went to shoot Ben.

Then ben said "I have answers" and began rattling off all the details about the 4 people (like their age, hometown, school, careers, etc). The "boat other" chick was like "wtf". Then he said he knew why they were here. He said "They are here for me".

Lock was skeptical and said "and how do you know all that"

then ben said "I have one of my men on their boat."

I'm not sure if anyone covered this but my wife and I were talking....

The girl from the boat that was in the chopper. Ben says her name is charlotte staples lewis. C.S. Lewis' middle name was also Staples. From what my wife told me Lewis started off as a atheist while Darwin believed in creation. Somewhere down the road both men flip flopped beliefs. Not sure if she is correct on it but if she is right then this would go along the lines of man of science, man of faith.

To the outside world, the island has made it appear as if it crashed in the middle of nowhere, or.. at least someone is trying to make it look that way. That's why, during the entire episode, they kept saying no one from 815 survived.

I hope they explain this mystery.
And I am so glad Locke tried to force more info out of Ben about the smoke monster. I'm getting fed up with not knowing what the hell it is, but interesting enough its also been awhile since we've seen it, so the mentioning of it by Locke also kind of serves as a reminder for the viewers, reminding that the monster is still out there. Since there are so many things they introduce for awhile, bring up a lot of questions, and then just ditch one thing and start with more questions for something else.

the interesting part is how the pilot of the chopper has said he firmly believes the pilot pictured underwater is NOT who they say it was. Hmm

btw when Locke asked Ben about the smoke monster, I went ballistic! Finally SOMEONE asked one of the "others" about the smoke monster.
And when Ben skirted the issue, I wanted him dead even more.
Preferably by having our heroes take turns pulverizing Bens face.
Man, I hate that guy.

Seems to me someone mentioned the Smoke Monster to an Other before and they were just as shocked by the question. It may have been Patchy. I think the Others really have no idea what the Smoke Monster is.

I think there's some kind of Time thing going on with the Island. Earlier in this episode or the previous it showed the one woman finding the Dharma logo on a collar on a polar bear at a Mid-East archaeological dig site. Can't remember if any times were mentioned, but obviously it had been there for many thousands of years. Somehow Dharma sent a polar bear back in time. Perhaps the Island itself is out of sync, Time wise, with the rest of the world? If so, the plane crashed in the Past and what the Present has seen as the Plane in the water is actually the Plane crashing originally on an island that has been submerged over time.

Although that said, I thought the buried all those dead? So I'm probably wrong.
