Yeah, the care package glitch is out of control.

I'm not surprised there's been this many widespread glitches, simply due to the fact that theres so many people playing. Whats annoying is the delay in getting them out due to the microsoft certification process.

It takes so long that they end up bunching up the fixes like the akimbo FMJ 1887 bug thats been going on for weeks now. They need to have the authority to fix their game on demand. Its at the point now where the majority of games have cheaters in them, and despite my attempts to file as many complaints as possible, there's never any indication that it actually has gotten anyone properly banned.

anyone have info/charts on the time it takes to draw out you're secondary guns? Can't seem to find anything on that.

Pistols are fastest, followed by machine pistols, shotguns, then launchers.

Instead of people saying "I'm done with the game because of X problem" why not just take a break from MW2 and come back when they fix the thing?

Isn't that what "I'm done with this game" means? I went through the same thing when the 1887's and Javelin glitchers were out of control, and I found myself thinking it again last night.

So much nonsense got through the filters on this game and it's ridiculous. People are bound to throw their arms up in the air.

Instead of people saying "I'm done with the game because of X problem" why not just take a break from MW2 and come back when they fix the thing? I've only played a few games in the past few weeks, most of my time has been with Forza 3, Tekken 6, Street Fighter IV, or Batman: AA.

Just like when I trusted Epic to fix Gears2 and patiently waited for months? (they still haven't). Insert whatever game it's almost always the same. I have no blind faith left.

It's just another insult that patches are this god damn slow on the best selling game on the 360 (pc and ps3 patched what, 1-2 weeks ago now?). You can bet the dlc will be timely, though.

Third, an entirely different issue is I am sick of p2p hosting, which plagues both consoles obviously.

Speaking of Gears 2. Epic failed hard with the patch that was released in fall. Took away any use of smoke/stun nades and made the chainsawing with the Lancer to powerfull. Couldn't swipe the chainsawer anymore. Good thing Boarderlands was released shortly after that.

True, I too was let down by Epic with Gears 2...man that was sad.

by the time everything gets patched (and by everything, i mean everything worth patching at the time, until other things get exploited) everyone will probably have given up on this game and stopped playing it, because everyone's really getting sick and tired of paying $60 to play and test a beta of an unfinished game...

Another little bonus is that the M93 Raffica can be used in Last Stand. Normally, if you have Last Stand, you'll either pull out whichever handgun you have equipped, if you have one. If your secondary isn't a handgun, it'll automatically give you an M9 Beretta. But the M93 apparently counts as a handgun in Last Stand. So it's a good option.

Also, akimbo silenced Rafficas = pure win in Hardcore. All it takes is 1 hit to kill someone.

No kidding. I think back to IW's attitude toward a beta for MW2, and they were so smug and arrogant about it. And speaking of Gears, that was actually one of the biggest let downs in gaming. The phrase "dropped the ball" doesn't even BEGIN to describe that whole moose fsck. Thankfully they implemented single player deathmatch. I actually enjoy firing that up now and then.

Yup I'm pretty much done with it at this point. I only play when friends ask me to now (which is a struggle in itself, because apparently it's rocket science to program a game to keep a party together)

Tried playing Ground War on 4 seperate servers and all 4 had people doing the care package glitch. It's to the point where the game's not worth playing until it gets patched.

A beta, with a few hundred thousand at best, probably far less, playing for far less time, probably wouldnt have found these glitches. It took almost 3 months for 5 million+ people to bring it out.

These glitches get patched almost immediately on the PC, but it takes weeks to filter down to the consoles for some reason.

Its really getting aggravating, I couldnt play a single normal game yesterday - 75% of the games had unlimited care package glitching, the other 25% had the super fast care package knife runners.

10+ matches...not a single normal one. Thats ridiculous. They should be banning people....the javelin glitch was never this bad.

I was playing TDM on Quarry yesterday night at around 12, I got in the game with my team losing 3500 - 5000. I had my trusty M16 with the holographic sight - sleight of hand - stopping power. This gun is so much better with the holographic sight than with the red dot site for some reason.

Fast forward to almost the end of the game; Opposing team has 9600, we have 8500. I get my Pred, kill 2 guys; send my harriers out and they quickly kill 4 people. Chopper Gunner time - I start ripping into them while my harrier is still taking guys out I ended up winning the game for my team. Final score 28-2.

it's beginning to become unplayable now, I played quite a few games yesterday and I think there was one normal one.. the rest of the time was glitched out bullshit.

I've gone back to special ops for now.. can't see myself finishing the multiplayer until they fix this awful buggy bullshit. I just don't understand how people find that kind of thing fun to exploit.

i find it easier to use the iron sights on the m16 for some reason, altho i know the holographic sight has less spread on the 3 bullets.

been messing with silcencer on the m16, don't like it, i think i will just go back to extra mags.

On the M16, the holo increases accuracy. On the FAL, it increases minimum damage (useful in conjunction with Stopping Power). Otherwise, the only difference is appearance. The TAR and F2000 have those weird MARS red dot sights instead of the normal ones, so for those guns I also prefer the holo. Otherwise I like the red dot more.

is this only an issue on the xbox? On the ps3, the only glitch I've ever encountered was the javelin glitch and that was one time and I play a good amount.

I can't speak for the ps3 but yes I'm using xbox.

I guess I am either dumb or lucky as I have only noticed in "glitch" one time. Granted I do feel that a lot of my bullets do not register many times and I get waxed because of it (ie I empty a clip into a guys face point blank and he manages to get one shotgun shot off and I am dead).

Played for 45 mins last around 10ish or so and noticed nothing out of the ordinary (mostly played Domination)


I did get several very satisfying kills though. I love it when some is popping off guys from a well hidden place and I am running along see it and pow drop an M203 grenade in there from a long distance. Even better is doing this on the tunnel on Wasteland near Flag B - lots of campers in there!!

Second favorite thing is managing to knife someone hiding out somewhere unfortunately I get my a$$ knifed all the time (I suck at knifing). I get knifed WAY more than I get shot.

Of course getting revenge on a guy who got you earlier is always nice, LOL!

The easiest way to kill the carepackage knifers is to do it back or use a shotty. If I have one of those guys, I switch up KS and use marathon/lightweight/carepackage right back at him.

IW fixed the glitch for PS3/PC. The Xbox hasn't been patched yet due to IW pulling the patch from Microsoft Certification to add in additional fixes. Then it has to enter Microsoft Certification again.

i could care less when i get knifed, usually those guys and the toobers have negative k/d ratios anyways lol. its like cmon you're toobing/ care package glitch knifing and you still can't keep a 1:1 ? losers
