Gave this a shot and was extremely surprised how stable the shooting was and how little I actually missed the ACOG scope. I easily did 10x better than I was doing before. I guess you really dont need scopes after all.

And this was even inside care package hell... they need to get that bullshit fixed immediately.

lol told you man, after someone suggested the same package to me and i tried it, i was hooked. so accurate, quiet, and takes someone down in 2 shots it seems. i use iron sights on all guns. all of my 10:1 ratio games were with this combo.

i have yet to try it with the acr tho, as i still "feel" like im wasting more bullets trying to take someone down compared to the scar, just a mental thing.

this also did wonders for my m16 build, silencer ftw.

I love silencers. They are probably the most under-rated attachment IMO. People love flocking to the red dots on their map. My favorite setup is the TAR21 with silencer, scavenger pro, cold blooded pro, ninja pro. That is usually what I use to pull nukes.

Also, anoter fun setup is Uzi silenced, G18 silenced, marathon pro, cold-blooded pro, ninja-pro. You are quick and invisible. The Uzi is pretty crazy close range and silenced...wow.

I also use the silenced Tar build. It is freaking amazing, IMO. Being invisible is a great asses. Instead of Scav. pro though I use the one that gives you quicker aiming/reloading. Seems to make a difference for me. If I run out of bullets I'm fine with picking up someone elses gun.

I wouldn't even come close to calling suppressors "under-rated," it seems like a large portion of players use it.

M16, holographic
Deagle
Sleight of hand
Stopping power
Steady aim

come fuck with me, one trigger click and you're dead, everytime haha. Two at max if the first bullet misses. <3 I average like 5/6:1 with this kit on TDM.

IMO if you're going to use something other than Scavenger Pro on an assault rifle, you should consider an M93 Raffica as your secondary. It's basically a backup AR.

For some reason I decided I wanted to finish the FAMAS Mastery challenge, so I've been having to use attachments that I don't normally use... man, I had a lot of fun with the grenade launcher + scavenger, but I hated myself for doing it.

Does anyone ever use the shotgun that you can mount on your rifle? Seems like the least useful attachment.

I really hate giving up Marathon when I have to use bling or scavenger to complete these challenges.

The heartbeat sensor is solid gold in FFA, if you're on the regular maps. Seems like not as many people use ninja as I thought they did.

I made a shield + Raffica class after getting my UMP prestige kills to 495 (next prestige I'll get my 10K XP to give me a lvl boost). M93 is freaking ridiculous, it might as well be an assault rifle. Super accurate, quick follow up shots, zero recoil, and high damage.

Another benefit of the Raffica is that the game treats it like a handgun in most ways. I already mentioned earlier that it can be used in Last Stand, but on top of that, it's fast to switch to. It's faster than other machine pistols and almost as fast as a handgun. Try it sometime.

I love playing against care package glitchers and beating them, the excuses they use in the lobby afterward are always fun to hear. TDM, domination and demolition are the main game modes I play with my buddies, TDM being by far the hardest to win against glitchers. There's just a certain satisfaction in rubbing their nose in it, especially when they think its a fluke and want a rematch and get curbstomped again and again.

With just the basic sights I "sniped" a guy across Rundown with it.

Eh, I just pick up other guns if I need to. Having faster reloads has saved me so much more in 3v1 firefights than anything else.

i'm starting to not reload after each kill, its just kinda tough as you don't know how much ammo you have left since i only play hardcore

9 times out of 10 I am dying because I'm stuck mid-reload.. might have to switch to sleight of hand

Sleight of Hand is nice but personally I prefer not having to give up my preferred weapon for a faster reload.

Thats what I did and I haven't looked back since - Also, once you get SOH Pro, you can aim down the sites faster.

I thought that at first, until I realized that I died more often because I took forever reloading, so sleight of hand works for me.

There really aren't any guns I can't use, so I don't mind switching to something else if it means I can stay alive longer, if I run out of ammo. One of the first things I do, is to swap out my pistol for another gun I pick up off a dead body - that way I always have an AR or an SMG with ammo.

I used to be a huge fan of SOH pro, but having more ammo is alot more important to me now. So, I roll with scavenger, and have learned to avoid and hide while reloading. Having to run around and find dead people's weapons have gotten me killed plenty of times as well.

The last couple of days I have been forcing myself to use other weapons. I was so "entrenched" with the M4 that whenever I used something else in the past it would be for 1 game and I would be like YUCK I suck with this one, LOL.

After about 25 or so games I am like the Scar more and more each day. I find I am decent with it on just iron-sighting which is a surprise as I love the M4/ACOG setup I run with all the time.

I just got the Raffica this w/e so I will have to fiddle with that some as well.

Reloads - I am bad with this one as I always seem to either be reloading or needing a reload right when someone is popping around the corner. Bang I'm dead. Gotta work on that timing.

Wasteland -- this map frustrates me for 2 reasons. Every game I play lately seems to be nothing but a clusterf**k in the main "tunnel" area. I mean EVERYONE goes there and seems to be nowhere else so I am either running around this big a$$ map hoping to find someone to fight with or I have go play clusterf**k in the tunnel with the other 11 people - very annoying.

The other problem on this map is that no matter where I am or what I am doing if I get killed the friggin' system spawns as far away from the action is as humanly possible. This is so annoying as you then have haul you butt all the way back to the front of the map. Dumb spawn system. This has only been a recent thing btw.

i seem to always run
scavenger pro
stopping power pro
ninja pro

regardless of gun now.... which is dumb as i can use the 2nd perk for something else since it doesn't make a diff in hardcore

+1, I don't kill a guy and stand still while reloading...you reload when you know it's safe...

There's not many guns I can't use either (Sniper Rifles), but having a weapon of choice on a particular map set up how you want it is a big +.

SCAR is a great gun, better for medium-long range engagements but not poor anywhere. The iron sights on it are some of the best in the game because they don't obscure alot of your view. What level are you at now?

The M93 is a great MP but it's 3 shot burst, if you don't like the FAMAS or M16 you're not going to like the Raffica.

As for reloads (and this is something I struggle with) don't reload just because you kill a guy. Make sure there's no one else around and get to cover before reloading.

As for Wasteland...it's honeslty one of my favorite maps. I'm not sure why everyone fights for the tunnels...try this next time. Scavenger + Danger Close (if you have it, if not it's not a big deal) + X assault rifle + M203 + Thumper or AT4, stand on a hill just outside of one of the enterances to the tunnels and lob nades in there for a while. They'll either get tired and try a different tactic or you'll get a ton of kills. People like to sit still in there, not sure why as it's a death trap.

Almost every one of my classes is set up like that. I don't play HC though.
