Guys, you are not getting meleed from 10 feet away. It's just lag. It's the same thing as when you see a killcam and the guy was shooting in a completely different direction when you saw it on your end, but in the killcam it looks fine. Or, when you register 4 hits against someone who then kills you, and you see in the kill cam that you only hit him once. It's lag.
The problem is I am sure the code "accounts" for that lag. A snipe shot that does 150 damage would kill someone instantly with one shot. Now, if I am shot by someone with said rifle, but I don't "feel" the shot until a bit after (1 second?), rather than killing me, it instead does 99 damage.
Plus, you do teleport with the knife with commando. I do it on my own screen. It should scale with the amount of damage you've taken. Each shot cuts the max distance you can score a kill in half, until you are either dead, or you are at extreme close proximity (touching).
Also, the hit boxes in this game are retarded. Head shots should be 1 shot kills, no questions asked. They should do 10x normal damage. I am tired of getting "Assisted Suicide" headshots. It is stupid. I've done it multiple times, and even had it happen to myself once. That, and when shooting under someone's shield (at their feet) I score headshots is pretty lame as well.
