Agh, wish I had noticed everyone talking about getting online the 19th

They still haven't fixed melee, and no amount of patching will make up for team mates with down syndrome. I just went through the first half of a CTF game and I was the only person on my team with any kills. How can you go that long with 0 kills?

I hear ya. The game is almost unbearable when playing alone. I'm usually playing with 1 or 2 friends at least.

i only saw one tard tonight using the akimbo 1887 with fmj tonight. the patch seems to have rectified the problem.

only problem is, it seems like more people are carrying launchers now that they can't noob it up with 1887's. my air support keeps getting shot down

That's true... I've noticed that too. Had a chopper gunner that got shot down after I got 8 kills. They shot it down pretty quickly.

So I am pretty sure people are lag switching in this game. It lags up way to often when someone just did something important (planted a bomb) for it to not be so. Enemy has planted the bomb: horrible lag now except for host who is on other team...

how do you who is the host? I've never quite figured that out on XBL.

When the game starts, everyone will have one bar except the host. Also, when this lag happens, only one person will have 4 bars so it is kind of obvious he's the host.

Seriously!? Fall Camo isn't the last level for headshots! There is another at 350, and I've heard that there is another after that at 500! That is ridiculous.

For the weapons them selves.

Headshots unlock different camo patterns for the primary weapon you're using.

The WA2000 is the only weapon I have the fall camo for, the rest of my most used primary weapons have as far as the Digital pattern, which I think is like 50 or so.


The different sniper ghillie suits are unlocked with one shot kills at IIRC 50, 150 and 300.

I only use digital camo on my guns. Sometimes I'll use Artic if I'm on the snow levels.

It's actually 50, 100, and 200 for the arctic, urban, and desert ghillie suits, respectively. When you start out, you still get a ghillie suit only on woodland maps.

Another thing is that OpFor and Militia snipers without ghillie suits have red hoods that make them really visible, so it's helpful to unlock all of them to lower their visibility. The easiest way is to use a Barrett or Intervention with Stopping Power and no silencer - that way you get a 1-shot kill anywhere on the torso.

Unfortunately, the bars lie. All sniper rifles do 70 damage, or 50 when silenced, and they are never affected by range. They differ in their multipliers for various parts of the body and the amount of recoil. Pretty much, the Intervention and Barrett have the highest recoil but also the highest multipliers, meaning they kill in one shot on more parts of the body. The M21 EBR has the least recoil and the lowest multipliers, and the WA2000 is somewhere in the middle.

The way the math works out, if you like the WA2000, you should try using it either with a silencer and Stopping Power, or without a silencer and with Cold Blooded.

Wow, I played a guy this morning who ran around with an RPG and M203 with Danger Close and all he did was use his RPG's and 203's and then essentially kill himself. Rinse and repeat. It was so annoying. He wasn't very good but he'd randomly shoot an RPG and kill 3 people and he did it quite often.

I also played a guy who was great at camping and that was it. He camped one of the 2nd story balconies on Invasion and went 15-0. Then I killed him (headshot from across the map with an iron-sighted M4) and he went 2-10 for the rest of the game. I prestiged again and got back to lvl 8.

Oh, and I got my wife two kittens for Christmas (such good cats). It's really funny though as they'll either jump on my lap and try to play with the controller or they'll jump on the TV stand and stare at the screen...which is funny except they block part of the picture (I'll pose a picture later).

I got a question about prestiging. I have played the PC CODs, but never prestiged, I just stay at the high level and enjoy. Now my question is, do you get to keep all your perks, and your weapons? If not, do you at least keep what you have unlocked on your weapons? So for instance you get to start out with the RPG, and I have every add-on unlocked with the blue tiger stripe. When I roll over and go to level 1, is it still the same, or do I have to get it all back over again? Thanks

Sorry but its a clean slate, you keep you callsigns and emblems....thats about it, which is why I won't bother prestiging.

I thought the same thing, but you progress sooo much faster the second time through. I'm amazed at how much quicker I'm ranking up this time through. Don't know if I'll do all ten this time around though.

Yea it's only rough through level 5 until you can make custom classes. After that it's no big deal at all. It does suck though in hardcore when you don't have cold blooded. I also miss ninja pro.

Meh, not much faster. You get what, maybe an extra 50,000 experience from the prestige challenges (if that)? A good chunk, sure, but in the grand scheme of things it's not much.
