For me it's twice as fast since i now know the maps and have become much more comfortable with each of the weapons. I enjoy having the extra slot for custom class.
Meh, not much faster. You get what, maybe an extra 50,000 experience from the prestige challenges (if that)? A good chunk, sure, but in the grand scheme of things it's not much.

Also, if you've not played CoD 4's campaign it was even better than MW2's. MW2's campaign is very choppy and tough to follow, I beat it twice and I'm still not sure what happened exactly...
Unfortunately, the bars lie. All sniper rifles do 70 damage, or 50 when silenced, and they are never affected by range. They differ in their multipliers for various parts of the body and the amount of recoil. Pretty much, the Intervention and Barrett have the highest recoil but also the highest multipliers, meaning they kill in one shot on more parts of the body. The M21 EBR has the least recoil and the lowest multipliers, and the WA2000 is somewhere in the middle.
The way the math works out, if you like the WA2000, you should try using it either with a silencer and Stopping Power, or without a silencer and with Cold Blooded.
I figured that to be the case. On my sniper class, I generally do WA2000 w/ heartbeat sensor (or thermal depending on the map). Scavenger pro, cold blooded pro, and steady aim pro.
I'll take a red blip when I fire, instead of showing up every time there's a UAV or killed by harriers and what not.
Yeah I have played COD (on PC) then moved to COD2, 3, COD MW 1 on 360. I really like these types of games moreso than GOW (which I like as well but not as much). COD3 wasn't all that great but it wasn't crap either.
MW1 was excellent and really was nice comeback from COD3. I did not play COD5 WAW though.
MW2 Online - maybe. I really suck at these kinds of games but really enjoy them as well so going online and having my arse handed to me it 2 seconds every time I drop in is not fun.
I played the first CoD and CoD 2 on PC, I didn't like either much. Felt like a half-hearted attempt at a more realistic Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. My old roommate convinced me to get CoD 3 and that was a mistake. That said I really wasn't even remotely interested in CoD 4 until someone gave me a beta code...the beta itself blew my mind. That was one phenominal game...I tried the beta of World at War and didn't like it at all. I finally bought W@W about three months ago just to play through the SP and then sold it. MW2 isn't as good as CoD 4 but it's still a ton of fun.
As for multiplayer if you're worried about getting your butt kicked play with some of us or join a private match with your friends, you'll get better at it over time.
Finally at .99, and about 70 kills away from 1.0 in k/d. I might stop after I've completed that goal. For a week at least.
Congrats! Although if you stop for a week you might lose your "edge" and drop down below 1.0, you'd be better off to keep playing ()

Cold Blooded is okay, except the classes I use always have Stingers ready. Nobody on my team needs it unless they want to stay off UAV that is up until I shoot it down.

2.0 kd..definitely sick. I have guys on my list that are like 1.6 and such, and they always own. I'm a pretty crappy .99. I had never really played any of the other cod multiplayer though.
