So on the latest update on
I have the green skull but I never even have been able to get far enough to enter in my founders activation code from the card that came with my Hardened edition. So not so confident that it really is registered to my account.

Anyone who signs up for elite by the end of the month gets founder status. That card I believe is for people who buy the hardened edition after the month is over so they can still get founder status.

Man what a cluster they've done here. So disappointing of a launch with all the issues.

Again last night it was so bad of lag that I couldn't even play the match so I dropped and it did a host migration which tells me that once again I was host of the match yet at a huge disadvantage.

I can't blame my home internet connection. I've done every kind of test against it and it's a sold connection with very low latency.

Running many speedtest and ping test from speedtest.net I get constant 10ms 30m down 3m up zero loss of packets and a A-Excellent rating every single time.

I know it's not my home connection.

In Blops it used to always seem like if you were host you had a slight advantage but in MW3 in the two times I've encountered this it's unplayable for me. I get killed then see the person. I watch the replay and they seem to be playing fine and I just look like I'm standing there not reacting.

After this happening over and over and over and destroying my KD ratio I decide it's better to just drop out of the match and try to get into one that's actual playable and that's when it kicks off a host migration for the match I'm dropping from.

As far as the elite site, if you entered the Elite code into your xbox and it worked, you do not need to enter the founder code at all.

If you see a green skull then you are good to go. From what I've read on their site the founder code is only needed if you sign up for elite AFTER the cutoff period and you need to activate founder status.

Does anyone know what those little people icon's with a plus/cross in them next to a person's title (on the right side of it) mean?

I see them on random people in the lobby from time to time.

The square outline with a star in it to the left of a gamertag is the party leader.

The small man icon with a plus symbol to the right of a gamertag signifies that you're both in the same "group" that you joined on the elite website. You can view the group by highlighting the gamertag and selecting the option to view similar groups.

Not that I know of. That card will be worth quite a bit after a while if it's unredeemed.

I think they're all individually numbered...mine is a super low number like 000006123....probably worth even more.

On ebay, those cards are only like $25-30. The ones selling for $60 or so include the 1 yr membership.

I've done it. I got the full 24 hours of double xp that + the 2 hours of elite double XP and I have about 5 hours or so left.

Ive done a bunch of the 20oz bottles, two 12 packs, and a few bags of doritos. All together I have got about 4 hours. I am now needing to trade a few of the cards you get to complete the sets to get even more XP!

Have you longed into Elite on your ps3 since than? I noticed that once it showed me as elite on my computer, I logged into elite on my xbox and later that night I got my titles, emblems, and double XP

Hmmm. Not sure but don't think I have.

Make sure you run the console app it may be linked to that.

In game you'll see the double XP if you got it when you go to barracks and look at your stats.

Had a pretty good run tonight. Much less lag and it didn't freeze my whole system as well at any point. Really more played around tonight and didn't take ranking as serious. Tried a lot of different combinations of perks and gun pairings.

Got that perk that lets you carry two primary weapons. That was some good times.

Overall much improved experience than a week ago.

Man, me and my team were just getting raped last night. Seems like morale plays a huge part in how well you do overall, and it was just not happening for us.

I'm starting to finally get comfy with sniping. It's funny how easy it is to complain about how "easy" quickscoping is till you try it, or how it's an exploit etc - it is HARD. It only seems easy cause the killcam makes it look like they don't have to fully scope in or hit you with the crosshairs. Thats a total misconception - you absolutely need to scope in and nail them on your end. The killcam just doesnt show that and makes it seem unfair when you're on the receiving end (the explanation behind why that is long). Its never something I'll ever want to use aggressively but I feel like I need to know how to do it just to defend myself in a pinch. I have infinitely more respect for those who are good at it now that I've tried to join the club. The one shot kills are super satisfying though. Never could get the hang of sniping in mw2, and it was just terrible in blops, but I'm really enjoying it here for once.
