Speaking of titles, do you get anything when maxing out headshots on a gun? I know that for 1000 kills you get an emblem so I was wondering.
Why are you doing those challenges? Gone are the days of titles and icons requiring them, and max proficiency doesn't require them completed. For the shotgun, try playing some hardcore, but I do agree - they suck balls.
Well, I'm not playing only to complete challenges, but on some guns, I just like to try to complete all the challenges and those 2 are just annoying as hell.
I wouldn't mind it if they balanced out the GL and undermounted shotgun to give them slightly more damage.
You lose more XP by trying to complete those than you do by finishing them. Kabob went through them all on the M4 only to find out it does nothing. I did the same thing but quit on the shotgun challenge at 20 of 40.

Like I said, I just like having everything completed on a few guns. I guess it's sort of an OCD thing. I only have done this for M41A and ACR. I definitely do not plan on doing it for every gun I use.
I agree, I have an OCD thing about it - it's a big reason why I leveled the M4 to 31 only to find out I just get a gold camo. IDGAF about that, because I lose it when I prestige. I keep titles/emblems so that's what I push for - but then again, I'm just looking to level quickly - I'm already on prestige 2. And yes, I know it's not the highest but it's still pretty darn fast.
Have you been doing double XP or just putting in a crazy amount of hours?
The Elite site when it was working earlier today for me said I've logged 25 hours total so far.
Really? I felt like it had no dropping power. Like I'd empty a magazine per drop. Maybe I didn't give it a fair shake though. I just like having my shots drop someone right away before they have time to drop me 1st.

I haven't unlocked the SCAR yet (only at level 61 in 25 hours of play ) but should get it soon. Want to give that a good run also since I see so many game owning players using it.

Well I blew my KD ratio to shit last night trying to play team games with just one buddy and we were getting owned since everyone else was random mofo's on our teams that ran around like chickens with their heads cut off.
Was embarrassing that I was even part of those matches.
I did give the ACR and even the SCAR a good amount of play last night.
I do like the ACR and will keep giving it some more play to see if I can't improve a bit more with it. After playing so much with non full autos I find myself repeatedly pressing the fire button when using the ACR which tends to lead to my death more often than not.
I had some seriously odd lag last night that made me ragequit like 3-4 games before I just turned off my 360.
