Been playing more of the team based game types the past 2 weeks since my brother got the game also for Christmas. Playing the 3 or so boards that you can't play on FFA for the first times I was so lost and confused, more matched to my brother on those

Played that one with the huge amount of plays that mixes up the game type (mosh or something like that?) last night with my brother. Was on Dom on Resistance and was by myself running towards where B is (if you've played you know) and no joke it was nearly the whole other team running in for B at the same time. I took out 6 of them until I ran out of ammo on my primary but got an IMS, set it out and took out most of the rest. Then they all respawn and all run for it again and I got a air strip and heli. Dropped the air strike right on them all. Was so epic

Felt like Rambo, took out nearly the whole other team more than once single handily.

So used to FFA that it was crazy having so many "targets" in one consolidated spot.

Did that other game type where you hold a flag that you run with but there's not base. (no clue what it's called) for a few rounds last night. I HATED how all a team had to do was hunker into a corner of a map that had nothing behind it or on one or more side also and as long as the whole time just dug into that spot it was nearly impossible to get in there to the flag. Game types that can be won only by a team all camping in one spot suck ass and need to diaf.

I am stuck on Skyrim right now. I plan on probably playing at least 16 hours of Skyrim this weekend. Maybe a couple of MW3. Six, lets game.

I had that experience in Team Deathmatch a couple weeks ago on Carbon. The other team spawned at the upper spawn point and coordinated themselves to sit in the workshop and cover every entrance with multiple campers. I'm not the best player, but I knew enough to stand away and throw grenades into the room to get a few double and triple kills. My team, not so much...bunch of noobs that kept running into that workshop shooting blindly...yeah they might take out 1 enemy if they were lucky before they were shot down by 3 others. There was one guy on my team who went 2-24 and a couple others who weren't much better.

I haven't had much of an opportunity to get into FFA in MW3, which I loved in Blops. I figured I would play some today as that had the best shot of getting the daily challenge of 10 kills w/in radius of jammer (ugh, what a terrible challenge).

Jesus f-in christ, FFA is near unplayable. Majority of the people are freaking quick scoping, which is ridiculously annoying as you can't go ANYWHERE that has a line of sight, and the maps themselves just play like shit in FFA.

Overall, I think Blops was a much more fun game. While MW3 has less BS than MW2, it still has a lot more BS than Blops.

I am thinking about doing this as well. I did it for a whole prestige during MW2, and I felt horrible.
I shouldn't, it's part of the game.

I tried to learn how to do this but could never get the hang of it. It might not help that I suck at sniping anyways.

Actually, it's more challenging - you might not see it that way, but to become decent at it takes some practice. I can top the leaderboards with my regular assault layout - takes work to do it when quickscoping.

Because it is annoying ... but it also gives you a chance to learn what it takes to take a quickscoper out.

Yeah...it's hard to do. Killcam makes it look way easier than it is in reality.

Still wish it wasn't in the game though. It's corny. If I can't shotgun blast you from across the map, you shouldn't be able to snipe me from two feet away.

I don't think I'd quick scope if I knew how but I would still like to learn how to do it. I have tried and am terrible at it.

Is there some "trick" that people use or some Class setup that makes them super fast? Seen it before and had it to the extreme last night. Was playing a hour run or so of FFA and getting top spot for a good amount of games in a row. Then it was weird, we get put back into the same board we just played even though it wasn't listed as the two boards to vote on. I just played that same board and got the 30th game ending/winning kill but this second go in a row (that I didn't think was supposed to happen) a gun is moving at what seems like super sonic speed. I mean he looks like a old 80's movie where they'd just fast forward a car chase scene to give the appearance of increased speed. It was just nuts. He got 30th kill and I was 2nd top spot at something like 18. Watching the replays of him after he killed me a few times and the final kill cam he looked weirdly fast.

Is there just some class setup that would accomplish this? Was it a glitch in the game perhaps with host compensation just all jacked up?

Well, without a video of it happening, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it was, but chances are it was just someone using a sub machine gun with extreme conditioning and probably had the juiced death streak active.

Yah, Juiced + Extreme Conditioning + any weapon with run speed is disgusting (shotgun, SMG or sniper rifle w/ speed perk.)

They do - I lost the M4 gold camo after I prestiged the first time. Convinced me not to go after another gold camo again, lol.
