A lot of people in this thread have been complaining that the lobby leaderboard doesn't display captures or defends - but last night I saw that in the lobby leaderboard, so maybe a recent update patched it.

For real? I'm definitely gonna look for that tonight. Glad they fixed it, if true.

Anyhow, Prestige Tokens, anyone else feel like they've been abusing a certain favorite gun due to it being available after an unlock via Prestige Tokens. Was looking at my stats, and I've been using the ACR way toooo much compared to anything else. Forcing myself to use the M16 currently. It's actually not as bad as I thought it was. Wish it were still, just a tiny bit stronger.

Also, the smg's are really good in this game..mp7, pp90m1, ump, p90. All great smg's to run with. Working on the ump right now, really liking it again. Once again, not as bad as I previously thought. I've been using the pp90m1 and mp7 way to much for my running classes.

For some reason Im really OCD with the guns in cod. I always aim to complete the marksman challenges (300/500 kills) and then I feel compelled to use something else. So I've got about 500 kills with every AR, SMG and LMG. My favorites are the SCAR, G36, MP7 and MK46...but there's not really a single gun id classify as outright useless besides the MG36, which is simply a piece of garbage.

M-16 with rapid fire is awesome - I feel it's better than the Type 95 because of lower recoil.

I unlocked ACR and Stinger.

Stinger is so useful to have right off the bat to take down air support.

Ive unlocked the ACR, Trophey system, Dead Silence, and Assassin. My next unlock will be the MP9.

I've unlocked Dead Silence, Assassin & Portable Radar. I still have 5 more tokens to use, but I'm not sure what I want to use them on. I don't like the idea of unlocking anything I can get BEFORE level 20 since it's quick to get there, but there are some items afterwards that would be nice to have. I really wish I could keep specialist unlocked but I feel selfish when I use that because at least with assault my killstreaks can occupy other's attention to let newbs kill them. That or I'll go back to support and stick with something along with Stealth and EMP. I might go with adv radar or something.

The only thing I dont see myself buying will be the extra classes or the create a class at level 1. It normally takes 1 match to get to lvl 4 and I never use more than 2 classes at anytime. Ill have one for assualt and one support. Ill most likely just buy the titles when they open up too.

Of course, my controller gets here today and it's f'ed up - pulls up on the right joystick. And Amazon is being a PITA and saying it'll take two days for a replacement even though I paid overnight shipping on my original controller (I have Prime.) Forget that, I'll go to Wally World tomorrow.

I don't think M16 has rapid fire.

edit: well that's weird, wiki shows it has it, but when I go to create a class, it isn't listed under the proficiencies. Does it somehow show up after you start leveling up the gun?

edit 2: oh nvm, it's an attachment...der i'm dumb.

which leaderboards are you looking at?

There's a lobby leaderboard and a leaderboard in your barracks.

I forget which one, but one of those showed captures/defends. I checked it last night so it's definitely there.

Lobby, I know the leaderboard in the barracks has it and has for a long time.

I hope when it mentions the voice chat improvements, they are referring to the voice chatting cutting in and out. I know for me and some others, when we use our bluetooths, the chat will just cut in and out every few seconds causing us to to only hear half sentences from each other. It's very annoying.

I'm guessing this patch may come out on the 24th when the two new maps are released for xbox live premium elite users.

What do you guys think?

I like the idea of being able to mess with the music. I cant stand when I am trying to listen to footsteps and all I can hear is the dumb music. Also the objective fading will be nice too.

There's no music during the game except in the beginning of the game and during intermission.

True, but I don't really consider that as music...just more noise to deal with.

What I'm assuming the upcoming "game music adjusting feature" will deal with will be limited to the lobby music and beginning of the match music.

Reading Sixguns post made it seem like he was referring to a constant music playing during the match which there is not.

I leveled up myself and two guns at the same time. I heard that level up chime in loop three times, as I was still killing newbs. (Or completed challenges).
Ran out of ammo in the smg, switched to the .44. Killed two, stabbed another. Hid, reloaded both guns, and waited for the music to stop.
Ugh.

Well, I think BO has the same noises/music during gameplay and I don't hear a damn thing at all, so I'm presuming MW3 will let you turn down the "accomplishment noises" as well.
