Anyone try out the new patch? Did it get released like it was supposed to?

I played a few rounds last night and just cannot wait for the host issues to be resolved. I ALWAYS become the damn host currently because of have a really great home internet connection and it puts me at a constant disadvantage. If they really finally fix it, I will be very happy. It's really soured me to the game lately.

Nerfing the striker shotgun and the akimbo's will also be very welcomed. I cannot stand damn quick scoping bitches that also run with akimbo mini's.

I finally got a chance to try out the ps3 patch 1.08.

Wow, i don't know if it's just me, but the entire sound quality seems to have gone down. Everything sounds quieter and when people talk, it does sound like they are speaking from a closet underwater.

Hope they fix it if this isn't just on my end.

I do not have a XBOX live gold membership yet last weekend I was able to play on XBOX live. Does anyone know how this happened or if it will happen again?

Microsoft occasionally does free weeks and weekends. Amazon has a whole year for $35.99 I believe.

I'm sure a few thousand people did.

So assumedly they're eventually going to add the other 4 community game types (juggernaut, team juggernaut, gun game, one in the chamber). Hopefully they just leave them all in this time. There's also 2 upcoming game types on their DLC calendar, which will presumably be more "serious" modes. So all said there should be 6 more game types coming.

Starting about a week ago I started noticing a trend where lots of people are quitting games where they are losing. That often leaves me in a 3v6 situation or thrown into the middle of a game that's had so many quitters that the team is deeply in the hole. I know quiting isn't new but did something change to make it more popular?

I used to dashboard out but I don't even care about my stats anymore, so I just quit. I also have a very hard time turning a bad game around. Usually the first couple minutes of the match dictate how the rest of it will go...

Not always.. Played a GW kill confirmed last night on Arkaden and we started off at C spawn (the worste).. I started out 0-8. Kept on getting killed with each spawn. Once the spawns reversed.. we owned them and never let them back to A spawn area at all. I ended the match 35-13. We also won the game as well.

If I'm playing on my own and my team mates suck, I'll usually find a good camp spot and just hang out there. I'll just rock a stinger and shoot things down. Pitch a tent with my Trophy, drop a betty to watch my back. I'll do what I can to piss off the enemy.

What does dashboard out mean? How does that differ from quitting a match?

Dashboarding means closing the game. Hit X button select Xbox Home and leave the vane entirely not just the match. It used to prevent someone from getting a loss on their stats.

Yes, I know that subscriptions are cheap but I can't spend any more money right now. Do you know if there is some kind of schedule or heads up for when this free time is?
