Yeah, Payton did actually travel before the shot, but they never call that in the nba anymore. Basically, Dallas choked. They had the game and let Miami back in it. Not sure how many open shots they missed, but they sure didn't make many in the last 5 minutes. Dirk clanking the FT was nice too.
From what i saw, the Heat got a small edge in the officiating, but not a game changing amount. The Mavs should have played better in the 4th Q.
I will admit that I'm close to making a tin foil hat every year in the NBA playoffs. Everytime a team gets down 2-0 in the finals they seem to get every borderline call in game 3. I wouldn't put it past Stern to make "suggestions" to the refs. The fact that Wade somehow coudn't foul out of the game even though he wasn't very careful always makes me wonder. Conspiracy theories will always thrive in the NBA when it is obvious to everyone that certain players get calls that other players don't. Especially when players, coaches and officials admit it. I have been courtside and heard refs tell rookies "you haven't earned that call yet".
