attempt at the ball?......sure.....take your blinders off..there was no attempt at the ball man...I know you hate Shaq but for pete sake...that foul was uncalled for...and he was rightfully suspended because of it.
yes, my "i love the mavericks" blinders, lol. don't forget, i painfully picked the Heat to win it all.
anyways, my point is that Posey's foul was a shoulder check from the blindside. absolutely NO attempt at the ball.....when you check someone at that speed, you're trying to knock them down and hurt them.
with Stackhouse's foul, he jumped up and swung his arms to stop the basket. it was a hard foul, no doubt, but saying
"it was the similar to when Posey tackled Hindrich vs Chicago..." is ridiculous. fact remains, Stack made a play at the ball. he didn't lower his shoulder and try to knock Shaq out of the air.
i'd say Posey's foul was 100% suspension warranted. with Stackhouse, it's a judgement call, imo....maybe 50/50. my point ISN'T that Stack didn't deserve the suspension, but that the Posey foul and the Stack one are NOTHING alike.
