Substitute "in the bag" with "momentum" and I agree.

Yeah, momentum. That thing which can change with a single shot or foul. Whoop-de-doo miami. I'd rather have 2 games at home in 3 than momentum.

In a 7 game series; Game 5 is critical. If Miami wins Game 5; I really believe that they will win the championship. All the pressure will be Dallas in game 6. Wade will just go nuts knowing that he only needs one good game to win his 1st ring. Game 5 on sunday is going to be awesome!!

GO HEAT!

Every odd game is called critical by any and every person who tries to analyze NBA games. It's kind of dumb.

wow...it's so funny how things could change in just a few days...

Dirk suddenly can't sink buckets....it's the Miami D that people are talking about. Riley is the man now instead of Avery...

I love it...the media is joining the bandwagon now too....

amazing....

I love the fact that I get to watch bball in June.....it helps me out with my fantasy football addition that starts back up in August

STACKHOUSE SUSPENDED FOR GAME 5!

Ouch... big blow to the Mavs... but maybe they'll rally like PHO did when Raja was suspended. Only problem is, Shaq isn't as hated as Kobe

oh, WOW.......i certainly did't expect that. that's a pretty weak-ass suspension.

you're telling me that that's on par w/ Raja Bell's take down or Terry's punch? no way.

Cuban must have shat his pants, lol.

WTH are you talking about? It was hard NBA foul...even the announcers called it that way last night...

Posey rammed his shoulder into Hinrich with his hands down...at least Stack was 'trying' for the ball (his arms and hands were in the vicinity of the ball)...

idiot...

it's ok....you can call me any name you'd like if it makes you feel better I know you must be in terrible pain after last night shalacking. You'll be ok...I promise

fact is he is out...the NBA reviewed it....and came up with that it was a horrible foul that warranted a 1 game suspension...I guess Cuban didn't have the clout he thought he did...I think it was revenge for when Shaq opened his face up in game 1 or 2..I forget. The difference is that Shaq didn't purposely try to hurt Stack...not that I think Stack could even hurt Shaq if he wanted to....but the foul was extremely dirty.

I'm not making any predictions....but that's a huge blow to the Mavs.

Posey's foul: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubprCfyU8dw

Stack's foul: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKwAhkTu5K4

Posey cross checked Hinrich, not making any play on the ball.....and was immediately ejected.

Stack made an attempt at the ball and prohibited the and 1 play.....hard foul, yes, but it's not like he rammed his shoulder to blindside Shaq just to knock him down.

Huge difference there.

and please, jcuadrado, spare me the "you're just a heat hater" talk.

attempt at the ball?......sure.....take your blinders off..there was no attempt at the ball man...I know you hate Shaq but for pete sake...that foul was uncalled for...and he was rightfully suspended because of it.

yes, my "i love the mavericks" blinders, lol. don't forget, i painfully picked the Heat to win it all.

anyways, my point is that Posey's foul was a shoulder check from the blindside. absolutely NO attempt at the ball.....when you check someone at that speed, you're trying to knock them down and hurt them.

with Stackhouse's foul, he jumped up and swung his arms to stop the basket. it was a hard foul, no doubt, but saying "it was the similar to when Posey tackled Hindrich vs Chicago..." is ridiculous. fact remains, Stack made a play at the ball. he didn't lower his shoulder and try to knock Shaq out of the air.

i'd say Posey's foul was 100% suspension warranted. with Stackhouse, it's a judgement call, imo....maybe 50/50. my point ISN'T that Stack didn't deserve the suspension, but that the Posey foul and the Stack one are NOTHING alike.

I didn't mean they looked like the same foul...I meant they were alike by that both just ran down the court and trucked the other player. We could agree to disagree that Stack was going for the ball...I don't see it....I say he was going for Shaq..

and guess what...the NBA suspended his arse for it...good. I've never seen Shaq get trucked like that and fall deep into the crowd like that....

I've read your 50/50 arguments all night last night too about the crazy foul calls...that was a load of bs too. You posted earlier that it was a weak ass suspension....??? So it was deserved but it was weak?

wow..suspended 1 game. That foul was not anything near what Raja Bell did to Kobe. Raja clotheslined Kobe with no remorse afterwards. Stack's foul was just a hard foul. Should've just fined him.

Well the bottom line is that Stack hit Shaq in the head, it looked like a forearm caught him pretty good. Anytime you hit someone above the shoulders, it's safe to say you will be suspended...

agreed, nothing alike, stacks was much worse. even if he was making an "attempt" at the ball, he got an elbow to the head. that is much worse than what posey did.

I honestly cannot understand why everyone is arguing if Stackhouse should have been suspended or not. In the NBA, if you commit a flagrant foul, it is reviewed by the league.

Stackhouse was not going for the ball. If you are going to put a hard foul on someone, wrap them up. Don't throw yourself into them. Did he deserve to be suspended? Maybe not, but he went after Shaq, not the ball, and the NBA does not like that.

Thats lame Suspended for a finals game for that

It was a hard foul with no clear path to the ball no doubt, definately deserved the flagrant 1

Dirk and Stack both got knocked to the ground repeatedly, and most of the time didn't even get a foul call. And just because Shaq is a friggin tree, if somebody knocks him down it's OMG lets suspend somebody.

I suppose they will probably suspend Avery for the comments he made on his rado show today. Hell suspend Dirt and Josh while your at it, and Terry too he needs another suspension.

I disagree with most of the suspensions this post season, but the fact that this is the Mavs third during the playoffs speaks volumes about their relationship with the Comish. Maybe Cuban will wize up one day

that's not the point, the point is he body slammed him, had he swiped violently at the ball it would've been a different issue.
