I'll throw a scenario to you, as food for thought. What if both Wade and Dirk go off together and score in the 40's, who would win? The last time it happened with Tmac and Dirk, Dallas won.

No I was comparing 2 superstars both scoring a bunch and what is the result. With a healthy Yao and Tmac, I would take Houston over Miami anyways. It's just injuries really shunted Hosuton this season.

I wouldn't take Yao and Tmac for ONLY Wade. Sorry buddy, but WTF have they done in their careers besides whine??? Tmac reminds me of Glen Rice, great streaky shooter, great looking shot, but no vision and too much of a jump shot settler.

Am I the only one that though last nights game was called HORRIBLY by the refs?

I just dont understand how shaq can literally manhandle people and nothing gets called.

Miami won it fair and square last night, but there were sooooo many better ways last nights game could of ended.

Probably because Shaq weighs well over 300 lbs. Not many big men weigh as much. The refs have said before that Shaq is the toughest guy in the league to officiate because of his size.

You don't have to bring up Tmac. Dallas would win if both Dirk and Wade scored 40+. Just look at games 3 & 5. Wade went 40+ while Dirk had subpar games, still Heats only won by a hair margin. Sans superstars, Mavs is a better team than Heats. For the Mavs to win, either Dirk has a big game (irregardless of Wade's performance) or Wade has an off night (irregardless of Dirk's performance).

To clarify: I was only referring to Wade and Dirk. Of course the Heats have lots of former superstars like Shaq, Elonzo, and GP.

My point is that the Heats are much more reliant on Wade as compared to the Mavericks reliance on Dirk.

Umm have you heard of the term "Hack-a-Shaq"

I can't believe all the Dallas homers in here complaining about the foul shots, Dallas intentionally fouled Shaq even before the Heat was in the penalty to accelerate the shaq hacking.... So don't complain about it dude, the advantage Miami had in free throw shooting was a result of that strategy combined with the fact that Miami does not settle for jump shots like Dallas does

IMO, if miami wants to win it all, they need to do it tonight. miami's got tons of momentum going into this game, but the Mavs are awfully tough at home. i predicted Heat in 6, so i've got to stick to that. however, if Dirk goes off.....

I, for one, won't be whining at all. Bad calls, no calls, stars getting calls, home team getting the calls... its all a part of the game and it's nothing new and every team has been both the beneficiary and the victim of such events.

Let's grow up, learn perspective and move on.

Yeah thats $450k and three suspensions dished out to the Mavs this postseason, Cuban is such an bafoon. He can't seem to seperate his emotions from making good moves for the team, and he's hurting the team.

I agree with him that there needs to be a fundamental change in the way NBA games are called. And personally I think Stern and Jackson are worthless and need to go. But Cuban is going about it all wrong and hurting his rep and the Team He needs to get smarter about it.

I wonder if you were sharing Spurs fan's anger and shock at the officiating in their series with the Mavs where Dirk seemed to live on the line and Dallas took 50 FT attempts in Game 3?
