Three games ago he had a beauty. Open field, one-on-one on an* RB, for a loss.

He got him by one raised calf, slid up to the RB's knee (Remember them teaching you to tackle low?), STOPPED HIM, and just threw him back for a "from the point of impact" for a loss.

It was beautiful.

He's lost "a step", but that's his job, man, playing near Center Field and finishing other's plays if not making his own.

Wisenhunt purposely gimped the running game all season knowing they had a chance at clinching NFC West and a playoff berth. Only to dust off the Edge and go "SURPRISE! RUNNING GAME!!! ROLFSLOLLERS! once they hit the post-season.

Late in his career, he's most of the reason we're not winning. The WR's have dropped some, but he's missed more throws than I can remember.

He got benched for this in Baltimore. And no, not advocating benching him. He has another quarter and change to hopefully turn this around. As bad as he's played, he still gives us the best chance to come back.

A turnover now would help.

Egels finally got a TD, but had to burn 2/3 of the third before doing so.

If the cards manage to get at leasþ a FG on this drive (and helps starting at the 40), that takes it back to a 14+ spread, gonna be tough for a comeback given the current lack of offense putout.
