Pats need to play better defense. Spotting a team like Pittsburgh or Houston 21 points isn't a recipe for success.

If Houston can score against the Pats with their current offense, I can land a threesome with my wife and Katy Perry.

So? Problem is getting him the ball, which Yates wasn't even good at when he played - now you're relying on Jake Delhomme? Give me a break ...

hahahaha...I heard his name pop up today.... I didn't even know he was still playing...

Cowboys making the Giants look solid, but the truth is the Cowboys just were completely terrible this season, if anything they were considerably worse than the 8-8 final record here. Giants are gonna get creamed by any of the big 3 in the playoffs (SF, GB, NO).

I'm just hoping they won't even get that far and that the Falcons will take them down. I would love to see Tony G get his first playoff win.

Hey, who knows, if the Giants D front can perform at a high level and keep the score reasonable Manning has shown he's a fourth quarter stud and the running game is coming around too, still for anyone to beat NO in that dome will be tough, dome's should be banned IMO, it's football, play outdoors!..

If the pats get one and one in this years playoffs, I will lose hope. Things could not be easier in the divisional round.....

Note to BB for upcoming draft, DB's!, DB's!, DB's!!!Brady has maybe 2-3 years left to perform at a high level and asking him to bail out that crappy D every week is unrealistic, more so in a playoff game where your facing a quality D, not Buffalo's secondary..

Not sure about creamed...they lost by a field goal to GB and almost had the game tied up with an Eli drive before a pass got knocked down ending their chances.

They did get thoroughly trounced by NO though. No contest there.

It'll be interesting to see what happens between GB and NO if they meet again.

I wonder where our resident Jets fan is, because I really have to LOL pretty hard at their failure. Also, a few predictions:

1. Denver is one and done. I think everyone sees that and I'd consider it an upset of epic proportions if they beat the Steelers.

2. I see Cincy as having a great chance of beating Houston and I think they will.

3. What happened to defense this year? I think we may see lots of shootouts in the playoffs, particularly with GB and NO.

4. The Pats being the #1 seed in the AFC shows how bad the AFC is this year. I will still stick to my original prediction and say that the Steelers will win the AFC.

5. Colts "won" the #1 pick in the draft! I predict they'll take Luck since Barkley is staying at USC this year. Had he come out, I think they would've entertained trading down to take him.

The Pats only have to worry about Pittsburgh or the Ravens, because a) Houston will probably lose to Cincy and b) Both are better than the Pats. Pittsburgh, of course, has the biggest gimme in the first round. Tebow will be crying after that game.

Yea, Steelers match up well vs Pats as do the Raven's, the both have defenses, the Pats have almost none. A lot will depend on how Ben's injured ankle fares, he's good at and relies a lot on moving outside the pocket and making plays, right now he's gimpy and might have issues vs any defense. The thought of our D facing NO or GB in the SB isn't a good one for sure, we have some good slots in the draft, all Pats fans are hoping BB is smart enough to get some DB's, if your using converted receivers as DB's, you have issues!,LOL..

After watching the games yesterday, Id give my nod for MVP to Brees. It became clear after watching Flynn light things up for GB against the Detroit starters, that Rodgers is a product of the Packers and not the other way around where the Packers are a product of Rodgers.

While I don't think the Steelers will be an easy win, they barely beat a struggling NE in Pittsburgh when the Steelers were healthy. If the Pats can play anywhere near as good as they did the second half of yesterdays game, they will roll over a injury laden Pittsburgh. I think BAL will be a much bigger challenge.

Eh, Flynn is good. If the Packers' system is so good that any QB can put up 500 yards ad 6 TDs, then we're all fucked.

i think the lesson is to not draft like shit the last few years, although gronk/hernandez are beasts though

They beat us at home, their pass defense was good enough to keep the Pats mostly in check while Ben exploited the joke we call a secondary. If they wind up playing Pitt a lot will depend on Ben's ankle, he looked gimpy in yesterday's win over Cleveland. Falling behind Pitt or Baltimore like they did the Bills and Fins will be disastrous, your usually not gonna reel off 21 unanswered points against a good defense, if I were BB I would dial up all kind of blitzes, whats to lose when the secondary can't cover anyway??.

Flynn's a free agent after this year, I think his asking price just went up after Sunday's game, he would be a hell of an upgrade to the teams stuck with QB's like Kyle Orton ect..

If we can upgrade our defense somewhat for next season via draft picks or free agency it could make the Pats legitimate contenders, with the best tight end tandem in the league along with Welker and an emerging Ridley might be another good offensive season. Sorry Chad, it didn't work out, maybe you can play some DB during the playoff's??

Yes, Ben is a big question mark, but even when they were healthy and at HOME, they only beat us by a TD. That was during the streak where Brady was playing like crap as well. They were barely able to beat CLEVELAND yesterday. CLEVLAND!

You try to get into a shoot out with GB or NO, and you're going to be in trouble. And with the Pats terrible defense, there's no way they can win the SB.

this. No way the NFC doesn't dominate the Superbowl. I don't think the Pats can match the GB offense, as bad as both D's are--though I think that would be a good game.

The Saints will just steamroll over them.

Best shot for the AFC is Baltimore.

Colts have to take Luck.

I predict Manning is done. His injury has been publicly downplayed in a very insincere manner. The reality is that the type of cervical injury he has, with what--3 surgeries now? would put him on lifetime disability in any line of manual work. This is extremely serious. You don't risk it with slipped cervical discs. One bad hit from here on out could paralyze him.

I feel that the Colts organization knows it, that Peyton knows it, but for various reasons, are trying to hold out as long as possible to keep this from being known.

Sad, because he's the greatest QB of this generation and probably could have been the greatest ever. I would be astonished if he ever plays again--not that he wouldn't. But I don't expect him to be nearly as effective, and it would be a terrible decision for him.

Interesting day of football.

Even though the Lions have had an amazing year, I was still surprised to see them give GB such a difficult game. Flynn did great for a back-up quarterback who hasn't played hardly a snap since graduating from college. Almost 500 yards against the Lions? He's gonna get some great offers from some of the other teams. It'll be a shame to see him take what the Packers have taught him...and use it against them...but that's football.

Steelers looked like shit yesterday. They lived up to their "Pittsburgh Squeakers" moniker. Too many injuries. Denver will give them a tough game. I'll be very surprised if PB comes out on top of that one. (although I'd love to see Tebow get introduced to Harrison.)
Last night's Dallas/NYG game was good. I'm not a fan of either team, but I hate Dallas...always have, but even more so with Jerry Jones as the owner.
Didn't watch the Pats game, but was surprised at how badly they did early in the game...and even more surprised at the size of the comeback.
The play-offs this year will be...interesting to say the least. I'll be surprised if my Packers or Steelers makes it to the Super Bowl.
