Much as I don't like Kaepernick I think it's a bit early to be making any sort of rash judgments. Lot of football left to play this year.
I think its too early to consider the 49ers done for. Defense is a big question mark as of right now. I think Kaep can turn it around but its not looking good right now.
Best teams with worst records:
1. Niners
2. Falcons
3. Packers

2. Dolphins
49ers, especially on offense, are having major injury problems. Now with the loss of Aldon Smith and Patrick Willis, the defense is going to allow even more points. The 49er's are just in a funk right now. Their defense is not the fearsome wall of pain that it was previously. They can't seem to run the ball well which was their bread and butter the last few years. Kaep looks frustrated trying to find open targets and is very reluctant to tuck and run. Both sides of the ball for that team need to do some soul searching and figure out WTF they need to do better.
I agree.
Niners and the Pack will make the playoffs. Falcons I haven't paid attention to.
The Fish have zero chance. Do they even play against NFL teams right now or just against practice squads? Chiefs...I don't see anything big happening this year except maybe Andy gets them a winning record.
Seahawks are going to be the team to watch. Something special is going on up there.
Shortest Careers
The shortest careers among NFL players tends to be those who hit and get hit the most during games and practice. Running backs have the shortest average careers of just 2.57 years. Wide receivers have average careers of 2.81 years. The average career for cornerbacks is 2.94 years.
Longest Careers
The longest careers among NFL players tends to be those who are hit the least. Kickers and punters have the longest careers, averaging 4.87 years. Quarterbacks are next with an average career of 4.44 years.
So...does Pittsburgh have any fans left?
Maybe one guy that doesn't get ESPN or something?

Patriots are tied for the second best defense in the NFL in points allowed at 34.
For the NFC rulz AFC sucks crowd, anyone have the W-L records handy?
I've been a Pissburgh Squeakers fan since the 1950's...they've had more than one bad year since then...looks like this is going to be another one.
I've been a Green Bay fan since the early 60's...I needed a National Football League team to root for as well as my American Football League team...
Then...OMG! A NFL team in Seattle? I picked up the Seahawks in 76 as the home team.
I have three teams to root for...yesterday wasn't a great day for my teams...but at least Seattle won...and won quite handily. If they hadn't dialed back, the final score would have been about 87-0...but when the 2nd and 3rd string kept running up the score...Pete Carroll called on the high school team to fill in...thus allowing Jacksonville to get a few points.
That's the advantage to being a Detroit fan. Half way through the season you get to find a new team to cheer for. Last year it was a split between the Ravens and 49ers. This year it will probably be Ravens and Seattle. I don't stay up on the conferences, is it possible for them to play in the superbowl?

Yeah, that Patriots defense has really manhandled the offensive juggernauts that are the Buccaneers, Bills and Jets.
