Damn, this Canucks/Kings game is pretty sweet. I think there's been two whistles since midway through the third. Back and forth, back and forth. Fast. Why isn't it always like this?

Ref wasn't blind, he saw the high stick and called it a follow through.

I give them credit....after the first 10 minutes of the 1st, they controlled the tempo. Calls went both ways.

That was a correct non-call. There is no penalty assessed on a follow-through.

Coming from the Coyotes, that's pretty funny. Dead last in 09-10 attendance.

I'm not sure what attendance has to do with my comment. Where did you get that statistic? I've been to 8 games this year and 3 were sell outs, other 5 were pretty full.

I'm saying that Phoenix fans are the worst fans in the league and have been down there for some time.

Ahh, I found that just as you posted. I'm surprised at the numbers.

My original point wasn't "fewest fans", it was worst fans....as in attitude and smugness.

I think things will get better now that we actually made it into the playoffs....maybe not though. Doesn't help that Jobbing.com is way out in a fucking cornfield in west Glendale. Combine that with the nature of Phoenix (HUGE amount of transplants from other cities), there just isn't much fan loyalty or love for hockey.

In all seriousness, they've earned the right to have an attitude and be smug. Detroit is the NHL's model franchise.

Kind of like how the Sharks are known as chokers. It's been true in the past and until they get back to at least the WCFs or get totally blown up, the label will probably stay.

wow, i've never seen so many close series' in the first round. Usually at least 50% of them are near sweeps. That caps game yesterday was intense.

Awesome playoffs so far. A couple teams Im pulling for. Phoenix (hate detroit) Kings (Anze Kopitar, best hockey name ever), Penguins, and Blackhawks (Towes/Kane are amazing!)

Oh, I can't forget Capitals. I want to see Ovechkin and Crosby play. That should be an epic series.
