The officiating tonight was terrible. But it's gone the other way before. The ref missed Briere getting a stick to the face, good for a 4min PP there.

Like I said before, though, I'd rather they call looser games in general. Hockey is a million times better to watch when there isn't a whistle every minute.

My team is down 3-2, but this has been a great series. Hoping to see it go 7, obviously.

If the Hawks get a 2 goal lead, they will soon after be facing a 5-3, or at least back to back (to back?) penalty kills.

EDIT: though I doubt Philly would let that happen at home, while facing elimination, anyways.

Even though I'm Kinda (bitterly) angry at them for sweeping the Sharks, I've been rooting for them. Or at least I've not been booing them like the Flyers.

The same team has lost 3 times in a row a couple of times, and twice in a row many times. I'm sure a good number of players have lost 3 times in a row (not current players). Losing 3 times in a row with 3 different teams would probably be unique.

And Chicago got away with murder in the last series. Seriously, the refs aren't out to get either team. Chicago has gotten away with some stuff and so has the Flyers.


And on a side note, I hate the 2-2-1-1-1 format of a 7 game series. I think it should be 2-2-2-1. First two for team with home field advantage, second two away, next two at home field, but if it goes to a seventh game I feel the team with home field advantage should lose said advantage in the final and deciding game.
