As a side note, this thread > NBA thread. I stopped watching the NBA a long time ago, not giving up hockey though.

NBA isn't a sport when compared to Hockey.

Maybe I don't get it...but what was the problem with that hit? Bergeron turned his body in a poor choice after clearing it and Adams was already mid-hit...

He got hit in the numbers, and bergeron never saw him coming.

I didn't think that was a 5 minute major penalty. Bergeron lost control of the puck and turned towards it. Just bad luck that it happened.

Montreal played very well, though, and I am quite pleased that they scored on their few but good chances. Getting their penalty killing back in place was good as well.

Wow, what a ridiculous game. I've never had faith in the referees, but for both sides this game, it was awful. Looks like Bettman really wants to "shake things up"

Wow, just wow ... I didn't think it could get much worse than game 1 ... the wings deserved 1 of their 9 penalties, all the rest could have gone either way, there were at least 6 that were definitely dives in my eyes at least.

It looked like Detroit was going to be able to prevail against the 2nd team on the ice, alas it was not to happen.

I give up, there is no point in watching, the powers that be have decided detroit is not going to win.

I have noticed a pattern in the calls btw, the calls always go against the winning team to make things closer, what's right has nothing to do with it.

Screw it hockey, you've lost a lifetime fan in the middle of the playoffs.

Agree. But I don't understand Bertuzzi's 2 goaltender interference calls. Nabokov needs to learn to skate. And nothing came of the Shark's goalie interference call. Goals came from the ones against the wings.
