Haha, same with me. Into it for 40 hours or so according to saves. I'm still a leve 9 warrior with tons of sneak and security and speechcraft skills. As far as I can see, I don't think I'm even half way through the main quest.

Just finished the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quests. The Ultimate Heist was pretty meticulously designed and I liked having to get up to the 'library' to get the 'thing'.

The last Dark Brotherhood quest surprised me, I actually thought that it could have been the opposit of what happened to the 'guy' and even took the evidence from the 'house' in case I needed to have proved to the 'others' about his involvement.

(Sorry for the 'stuff' I don't want to spoil it for anyone... those who've done it know what I'm talking about.)

hehe.. 10 hrs according to the game and I'm level 3 still didnt do much of quests at all doh. still trying to tweak and enjoy the scenery. ^^

I have played only for a week and the main quest's over. It seems much shorter than the quest in Morrowind. Plus, I happened to do a lot of side-quests too.

The next step is to complete the guild questsd.

OK, I'm a n00b at RPG's, and this game not only runs like crap on my x1900xt, but it's also confusing. I tend to play using melee fighting mostly, but I also like to sneak around. So explain to me how to use the major skills, minor skills, and what level up strategy I should use. My 2 favored traits are strength and endurance, and my 7 major skills are blade, block, armorer, heavy armor, illusion, and 2 other non-combat ones I cant remember, and my race is the redguard.

While playing, I usually get incresed stealth skill because I sneak alot - is that good or bad to build up my character? I've heard that you should train your minor skill instead of the major skill - that makes no sence to me. Can someone explain this?

Anvil- inquire about rumors or talk to Maelona who will be walking around the town. You will end involved in a quest involving seduction/theft.

Also in Anvil- Mirabelle Monet who runs the Fo'c'sle- although she has no love for you- just for the five guys she spends quality time with from midnight to sixish.

No actual action that I have found yet- those are the closest.

You hav'nt even scrathed surface.There are 426 quests to include fighters - mages - thieves guilds quests. The dark brotherhood quests. Arena. Daedric Quests. Freeform and Misc. You could literally lead a double life for next two years.

Need some help with a quest here.

For the *Corruption and Conscience* quest, I've sneaked into the private quarters, but I couldn't find any quest item. what am I supposed to find there? or do it have to complete the quest the other way (if you've played it you know what I'm talking about).

Okay I was supposed to go kill some ogres for these people at a house south of Chorral so that they can move back in (the 2 brothers that were reunited), but I went there and attacked the ogres who were killing me so I ran away so that I could wait and regenerate my health. Now the ogres are nowhere to be found and I still need to kill them, what's the deal? I have also tried waiting around the house at all hours but they aren't showing up.

They're somewhere in the woods, they chased you wherever you ran. You'll need to find them.

Absolutely. Speaking for myself I always end up with way more hours in post main quest then I do playing up to that point.

Loads of quests to pick up or finish after the main storyline,also remember mods and an expansion pack or two will probably follow down the road.

What's the cheapest house you've all found? I got a quest to talk to a guy who's selling his house for 5000 gold. I only have about 700 so I'll have to do some saving and whatnot. I did find a really nice robe with a base value of something like 2300 though.

That is the cheapest house in the game (assuming you mean the one in Anvil), but... 'Something' happens when you sleep in it .

I found an answer to the no screenshot issue (I don't recall seeing it posted here @ AT) - It won't work with AA turned on. So for those of you who enabled them in the .ini but still can't make them, that's why. Strange, but true.

No there's a shack on waterfront for 2000. Buy in market district.

actually, the whole point of my saves are to get around the broken triggers that happen sometimes. so f5 saves would pwn me.

I got into Thieves Guild by being in the right place at the right time, more or less - just milling around Waterfront @ night chatting everyone up, and I found the "meeting".

I've got a little over 10 gaming hours and haven't encountered any significant bug yet. only bugs I've seen are some NPC path finding glitches and one "floating" guard moves without moving his feet, and sometimes got an error when I quit the game, but none interfere with actual gameplay. I'd hate to encounter quest bugs.

I encountered a Slaughterfish on dry land, it was just kinda stuck there. I saw a bunch of those in Morrowind too...

Twice I've had the game crash hard, lock up the PC and put the video card into sleep mode. someone else here had that happen, don't recall who. Once in a while there's an error message when I exit the game. Other than that, I can usually play for hours w/o anything bad happening.
