did you try the impload tweak? If you have ram to spare, this tweak caches maps. Of course, once in a while, it takes a long time to load.

I just uninstalled it. Pacing, weak acting, (also got fat headaches because it's a fps ), and bad controls.

I actually though the voice acting was decent with a few exceptions. This one woman just sounded like she was reading it off a script for the first time, but what about that paranoid wood elf? He was great.

I'm using it ,seems ok so far .Only thing is the mannequins,be careful if you leave armour on,major bug where after 72 hours it all disappears.

I let you know if I get any problems,but my advice is leave the mannequins empty until the patch is released,the extra house room itself seems to have no bugs.

I love when you talk to a beggar. At first, they use that beggar voice. Then, if you click on rumors, they lose the beggar accent completely and say something like, "For the finest inn in town, try..."

I don't remember the website, but I read somewhere that there is a console command to save your game where you can name it whatever you want. Considering you have the PC version that is.

LOL...yeah, I noticed that too. I just thought it was a bug though.

Each race has only 1 voice. The orcs/nords actually share the same voice.

I think that tweak makes the first load take longer and shortens subsequent loads.

Yeah I noticed that as well. Overall love the game though!!

I bought the Benirus Manor in Anvil and already opened the sealed portal. Now I went up to the dead guy on the altar(Forget his name) and he gave me a little speech about putting his hand back to his skeleton. Where is his hand? I can't find it anywhere. Help Please...

when you rest in the manor for the first time, there is a noise downstairs. There ought to be an urn which has fallen down. That contains the hand.

you need to cast soul-trap on the target creature and kill it before the spell expires. Once this is done, take it to the Arcane University (I think its a place in it called the Chronosarium or something) and click on one of the altars of enchating. You ought to be presented with various options.

Well, just picked up a BFG 7600GT for a pretty good price. I was going for Asus or XFX due to about $10 difference, but they didn't have it. <Tried to bargain off $5 under the premise that they didn't have what they want; first time ever, and it was FUN, but boy did I fail They did have the upperhand though, BFG card was way better.> Oh well, finally got something that will do Oblivion justice, good-bye 9600 Pro Advantage.

How the heck do you beat the undead guy from the haunted mansion in Anvil? I'm level 12 and he handed my butt to me in about 30 seconds.

Oblivion just crashed so just gonna post some thoughts about the graphics. Install went ok, had trouble with the crappy AGP latch(one on the slot); one hand pushing latch, one hand pulling card, the other end hit the mobo. <Was there a better way to pull it out?> Looks like the Realtek chip was there, but no sound problems, so I hope everything's ok. Also, wow the 7600gt is as loud as other people say.

Anyways, going from half draw distance, nearby grass, bloom and 800x600 to full draw, far grass & buildings, HDR and 1024x768 is just breath taking. The HDR alone is worth it, and it's also running way smoother all around. It was raining for the first 2 hours of this "rebirth", but boy did the sun bring out the awesomeness.

Butchered most of the town you rescue Dar-Ma from after walking into their little town meeting. Could anything else have been done?
