I'd say the reason this thread gets no love, is because most people getting them aren't keeping them, they are selling them. I think I saw 3 in this thread that are actually using their PS3, EngenZerO, BillyBatson, & tboo.

I read that paypal is freezing tons of accounts that sold PS3s, simply because they sold one. Sounds like more shady business practices after requiring paypal and all that...

yea considering i sold one through my dad's account too... i'd be so pissed, because its a completely legal practice.

i'll have one soon enough, just gotta hope I walk into a store at the right time I guess. only sold the first one I had because I wanted to make a little money. Still want one really bad.

That sounds kind of fishy. PayPal gets a pretty hefty cut of every PS3 sold. Why would they freeze accounts that are giving them money?

The only reason I can think of is if the accounts they froze were suspected of fraud, scamming, or not delivering the goods that were paid for.

SCEA's Dave Karraker, Sr. Director, Corporate Communications, informed GameDaily BIZ that they currently cannot confirm that this 1080i issue will be resolved via a firmware patch. The official line is now that they are "looking into the issue and haven't stated any actions that will be taken regarding it."

obviously you have poor reading comprehension. kutaragi was not fired, neither was his change in position a negative. congrats on generating ad revenue for your site though.

Kutaragi was fired as president of Sony. Insert whatever synonyms you'd like, but the fact remains. Whether his removal was negative or not, this move puts him in a lesser position.

I find it funny that you accuse me of poor reading comprehension when I posted nothing about my own interpretation of the news until this point. I also find it rather funny that you jump from the issue of whether the first article is credible to my reading comprehension skills, which has nothing to do with the preceding argument you lost. I don't own the site in question, never said I did, and you have no ammunition for such an accusation. If all you have is baseless mudslinging, you'd best quit while you're behind. I really don't care if the guy was fired or not...as long as it doesn't effect me. I doubt they fired him too, considering he's still working with them. They probably felt it was time for a change.

Just because someone gets put in a lower position, it does not mean they are fired.

I played it at Gamestop today...wasnt all that impressed...graphically, it felt like an X360.

And the controller....is well....a PS2 controllers sans rumble
