Any chance of adding HDD down the road? Just the 8MB cache ones and Raptor?

BTW: nicely done.

I posted this in the AT article section about the engine, so plz pardon the dually post, just found the *official* thread

Perhaps a feature to mention broken/misdirected links? The example I gave in my other post is the MSI Nforce2 board links to the K7N2G-L not the K7N2G-ILSR.

Also, a differentiation or inclusion of retail CPU packages would be neat.

Minor note that maybe registered ECC memory should be labelled as such, or simply not listed. It's weird to see two modules with one priced six times the other for no apparent reason.

Hi Lord Evermore. I dont think we have any ECC memory listed. There are a few modules that are "Low Profile" and some that are just "Normal." If you follow them close enough you'll notice that they swap in lowest price frequently.

Little kinks we are working on - the memory section will probably double in size in the next few months. It's very volitile and we want to make sure we dont end up listing 35 different variations of the same product.

Cheers,

Kristopher

Very nice idea!

However, the search options are on the weak side and the fact that it's missing HDDs makes me want to cry

Explain weak? You can filter by category, search for any product and sort ascending / descending and by top prices.

Feedback please, weak doesn't cut it, you're not getting off that easy

I just noticed the "get top prices for all" button. Does that mean get the highest prices, or get the "best" prices?

I think the only thing that might be possible to add to the searching is to let a phrase such as "amd intel" result in all AMD and Intel products being listed, basically I guess boolean operators overall.

We don't want to do boolean operators, they are mean't for searching phrased based content, might cause issues with models/skus etc down the road.

Top prices is just that top prices as in best.

I'd really like to see registered memory differentiated on there. Sometimes it's hard finding registered memory at a good price.

Other than that maybe dual motherboards. I know that the dually community here is small, but you asked...

It'd be nice to click on the word Price and have it sort, rather than having to do the drop down box. Small annoyance.

The link for the "Pentium 4 2.80CGHz HT" is incorect as well as its price. They point to the 2.6C processor.

Also, if you don't mind, I have an idea. I was thinking of something like what newegg does, they have a "wish list" feature so that we can add all the items we want and see a final price. This is also useful because I can go back whenever I feel like, see my wishlist without logging in, and see the price. This way I can tell if the prices have dropped or not.

It makes it a lot easier when you know you have 2 or 3 weeks to buy a system and you want to keep track of all the prices. If you want to take this one step further, you can even allow people to have their wishlists critiqued because in General hardware, atleast two or three people everyday want their new system critiqued. Newegg used to do this as well but I see that they stopped putting links for the wishlists on their front page.
