I was hoping it would be 49ers vs. Broncos. SF got shafted by some bad ref calls.

So I am Denver all the way.

LOL so we can look at Harbaugh's ugly pompus mug all week and that filthy black sweater? No thanks.

This is a more attractive matchup.

And WalMart pants!

I hope Seattle wins, just because I like Wilson more. Manning had his time, and he couldn't get it done more than once. It is time to pass the torch, old man!

Now, I think if the weather is bad, Seattle will easily win. They have the running game and the physicality on defense. If it is clear skies, I'd give Denver the edge; and it would fall entirely on the Seattle offense to be able to keep pace scoring.

After the Patriots fell, I was fully prepared to throw my support to the Seahawks. But then Sherman opened his face hole and reminded me that I don't really like the team (aside from Wilson, who is a class act) or its fans.

Now I'm torn, dammit.
I'm in a similar boat. I don't hate Seattle and I don't even care about Sherman. I don't like the Broncos at all, and I don't like PFM at all.

But Seattle fans have been whiny cunts all season. Normally I root for NFC over AFC all the time (even if it's the Cowboys or worse, the Rams) but I kinda want Seattle fans to get taken down a peg. I wouldn't mind seeing PFM shred Seattle.

The current generation of Seattle fans are just a bunch of Beast quake bandwagoners. They will fall off soon enough, don't mind them.

As far as Sherman goes, I think it is rather funny all the Niner fans whining about it. Oh, I forgot how classy a guy Crabtree and the rest of the thugs on your team are! I'm sure they were talking back and forth the entire game, and Sherman was the one who made the big play when it counted, not Crabtree (whom I think would have caught that pass if Sherman hadn't deflected it).

I like Russell Wilson enough, I hope he wins.

Kapernick messed up. 2 Interceptions at the end of the game....not good.

2nd one was on 1st down....he should've threw it out or try running.

I was disappointed that he didn't run AT ALL In 2nd half.....

Ohh well, till next year.

It's kind of disappointing Wilson doesn't get more attention. He did make some great plays (along with Lynch). But he's probably too goodie-goodie and the media will almost always focus on someone more "controversial" like Sherman.

It is sad that the best players, as in best people, get such little recognition while we hear about the divas constantly. But, I guess spending most of your free time visiting fans, children, and veterans isn't as interesting as spending it with underage hookers and blow.

*Super Bowl

2 words. How do so many football fans not know this?

After Eli won in Peyton's stadium it would be fitting for Peyton to win in Eli's stadium, but I'm rooting for the Seahawks.

True. And I like this matchup better because I am sick of the same teams (Pats, Ravens, Giants, Steelers) that seem to always be in the Superbowl...and I think Seattle has something to play for as a city, seeing that they were completely jobbed in 2005.

Seattle got kinda lucky last night with those big plays that Wilson bailed them out with. If he's running for dear life in a couple weeks, it will be curtains...Denver isn't a team to waste possesions on. I think too many points were left on the feild yesterday by both Denver and Seattle. That cannot happen again.

Yep, but just to add that Denver can run the ball too.

I don't see Denver getting the pressure the 49ers did on Wilson, which should let him relax a bit. They made the plays when it mattered most, but against a high scoring offense like Denver, it will matter every possession.

In bad weather, I trust Seattle's run game a lot more than Denvers. Moreno isn't bad, but he isn't Lynch. And the read option will help a lot. Should be a good game though. I much prefer the close nail biters than the blowouts (unless it is my team doing the destroying! >_< )

...and I don't really see them getting pressure on PM. The funny thing about Sherman is that he talks a lot. Dude has a lot of help, which makes his job a heck of a lot easier, and if they cannot get pressure, the Sherman would have to put his money where his mouth is a cover for 5-10 seconds all night long.

I don't have a dog in this fight myself...just want a good game. I can care less about PM's legend and all that redemption jazz that ESPN is hyping up.

I think PM will have time to throw, which is why I think the game is going to rely on Seattle's offense putting up points. Sherman is good (as is the rest of the Seattle secondary), but PM can, and will, make throws. If Denver's receivers can get good releases and handle the physicality, in decent weather, Denver will score.

Yeah, I don't really care other than I like Wilson as a person and hope for a good game. I think PM's legend means squat and I don't see any "redemption". He sustained a neck injury most wouldn't come back from and Indy didn't want to waste a ton of money on an unsure prospect. He managed to recover and do good. The fact he even needs to win a SB for redemption is just a testament to how many he "should" have won with Indy. He had his chance, and only got one ring. I wouldn't mind him winning this one, but I am not of the opinion he deserves or needs another. He only deserves a ring if he can lead his team to victory and does it when it matters the most.

Not game related, but the Bud Light commercials with Arnold in the wig and ping pong outfit are awesome.

Yeah. All I know is they better have something epic after all these "expect anything" commercials they've been running.

Regardless of what happens, Champ Bailey is done this year. Hoping he gets his ring

Seattle will kick Denver's ass.

But I am always wrong so bet heavily on Denver.

What is the over and under on Peyton saying Omaha?

How many "should" he have won with Indy?? with a better defense probably 1-2 more, it's a team game folks, people get all caught up in the hype of a single player but in reality it's a team effort to win or lose a championship. How many times did PM put up great numbers and points only to see the defense let it slip away?, plenty. People now refer Brady to a SB "choker" because the Pat's lost the last two to the Giants, yet he got them the lead late in the 4th Qtr in both games only to see the defense fail at stopping Eli from driving the length of the field for the winning score both times, again, it's a team sport, not tennis or golf. I have to tip my hat to PM for his outstanding performance yesterday and for being a total class act by paying homage to Belichick as "the toughest coach he has to face". Speaking of Belichick he had something to say about Welkers "pick" on Talib this morning saying "It was a deliberate play by the receiver to take out Aqib. No attempt to get open" and I agree, yes, the Patriots use "pick" plays too, all teams do these days, what bothers me is Welker lowering his shoulder pads into Talib's leg/hip area where he's been battling through a hip injury for most of the second half of the season. In the end I still think the Broncos would have won weather Talib played or not, PM was that good yesterday and Brady wasn't. 3 critical overthrows to open receivers, mistakes that one cannot make if your trying to beat a team as good as Denver on the road.
