Running fine on my system (specs in sig). I'm having a hard time trying to juggle a mom and dad and a child. Mom is a stay at home wife, but it's still hard as hell making sure that the eat and get enough sleep. The kid was so exhausted that when he came home from school, he passed out on the sidewalk and slept there for about 3 hours. A man came walking by, looked down at him, shook his head then just kept on walking.

Hey guys I have a question. I recnetly purchased the system im on:

2.8ghz
radeon 9800 pro
512mb pc-3200

and sims 2 gets pretty choppy at some parts, like the overview of the town or just like when i move the camera sometimes, im running on 1024x768

u guys getting the same problems? its funny cuz the graphics arent really THAT good or there isn't that much detail - nothing really impressive anyway, while my doom 3 runs smooth as butter.

Edit: Just looked some of them over, but electrocution isn't listed and I had one die like that...

Also, saw this one since that list doesn't seem right, " Secret: One of the new ways to kill Sims this year is to make them jump off the high dive with no pool underneath. Sims will die when their comfort reaches less than -100 after diving into the ground."

Can you change your aspirations? I made the mistake of giving my female sim a romance aspiration and she wants to woohoo with 3 people at one time and meet another person....AND SHE'S MARRIED TO ME!!!:|:|

Can I somehow get her to go towards a family aspiration?

But yeah I was in a money slump and my kids were like failing out of school so I picked up this one chick hoping that she would bring in some money and a nice job or what not... ends up I asked her to move in and shes unemployed and has a baby? I couldn't figure out how to kick her out so I left the baby outside for a few days and it basically died its own urine until some woman in a minivan came to pick it up?

I don't know if she kidnapped him or or took him away or what, but I got rid of him so it's all good

But yeah what's up with the romance sims? They always want to "whoohoo" and get with other girls, kind of over the top - I was thinking he would be more of a romantic sim and try to find the "one" woman or what, instead of being some horny pig lol

My sim got married to another fortune seeker. She makes more money and brought $8,000 into the house which was cool. Its also an interracial couple (white guy). Not planned, but she was the one who kept showing interest in my sim. She's pregnant now so I get to see how this genetics thing works with the children. I find this game strangely addicting after I have spent years making fun of people who play The Sims.

Is there any way to turn off the auto aging? I don't want to turn into an old lady. If I wanted to play as an old lady, I would have started the game as an old lady!

My sim is all about casual sex. I'm not going to get married or have kids.

I did ask a chick, that I was involved with, to move in, and the next night she was pregnant. I don't know how it happened, unless she was porking Daniel Pleasant on the side, but it did.

Press CTRL + SHIFT + C to access the cheat window, then enter the following:

turn off aging: aging off
turn on aging: aging on

Thanks! I'll try that when I get a chance. I like cheats in the Sims, because it makes it more fun. Having all the money you can, always makes the game a bit more interesting!
