VANCOUVER (CP) - Mattias Ohlund and Henrik Sedin scored third-period goals as the Vancouver Canucks rallied from a two-goal deficit for a 2-2 tie with the Florida Panthers on Sunday night.
Sedin tied the game at 13:34 when he took brother Daniel's pass from behind the net and beat goaltender Steve Shields with a shot from the edge of the crease.
The goal was only Sedin's fifth of the season but it was his third in the last four games.
Ohlund got the comeback started at 7:02, taking Markus Naslund's pass and scoring on a low shot. Trevor Linden helped set up the goal with a solid forecheck.
Alex Auld made 29 saves for the Northwest Division-leading Canucks (24-11-7-2), who are winless in their last four home games. Since their last regulation win at GM place on Nov. 8, they have four overtime victories, five losses and four ties.
Valeri Bure scored twice for the Panthers, who also blew a third-period lead Saturday in a 4-2 loss to Calgary. They had a great chance to beat the Canucks in overtime on a power play, but Auld outguessed Olli Jokinen with a diving stop.
The Panthers (14-19-10-2) have two wins, a loss and a tie in their last four outings. Florida is 0-3-5-0 in Vancouver since 1994.
Bure's second goal came late in the middle period just as the Canucks had killed off the front end of a two-man Florida advantage.
He beat Auld with a top-corner wrist shot from the top of the face-off circle.
Bure, who scored an overtime winner Thursday in Philadelphia, got his first goal off a turnover by Ohlund. The unassisted effort was another high shot over Auld's glove.
The goal came in the final minute of a first period in which the Panthers, playing their second game in as many nights, outshot the Canucks 8-3.
Nathan Horton earlier hit the post behind Auld when a miscommunication between Naslund and Brent Sopel led to another turnover in the Vancouver end.
Horton injured his left shoulder when he slid into the end boards in the first period and did not return.
