I have a quick question about Vonage...

Am I assuming right that only one phone can be hooked up to it at a time? There are at least two locations where I would like to have a phone, one is next to my computer, the other is on the other end of the house in the kitchen...is this possible? thanks.

No. If you make sure the main line coming into the house from the telco is disconnected, you can plug the Vonage box into any phone jack, and it will make them ALL live.

i heard it's possible, some other AT members have wired it throughout their whole houses. Need a referral just incase?

I was anvilite, I was not banned and I didnt even post once. I guess my profile was deleted for inactivity or using a free email or something.... I was supprised it was gone.

How secure is Vonage? Could someone tap in and listen to your phone coversation?
Is it easier to tap into than a standard landline phone?

Really no idea. I would imagine it would be harder sine the conversation is all digital from the call origin until it get's to the other end. Also, IIRC, it transmits your voice packets over several different ports. I imagine if you had expensive equipment of some sort, like the FBI or something, it's possible, but casually...I doubt it.

I do several large qauntity drug deals a day using Vonage, as well as conducting business for my child slavery ring, and I also sell various black market weapons and explosives over the phone, and I've haven't had any problems so far.
