hows their international coverage?? does the connectoin go through on the first try and is the vioce quality on international calls good?

Good question especially considering how poor vonage's intl service to India is.

It really depends on how good the bandwidth is on their end. I do a lot of internationl and it can be very good or it can be poor. If the person your calling is doing downloads or otherwise using a lot of bandwidth it hurts the connection.
If Vonage was 19.995 I'd try it. Otherwise I'll stick to packet 8. I see COMPUSA is offering PACKET 8 sign up and equipment free after rebate. A 60 dollar value.
