<< << Is XFL fake? >>
Considering the extremely unlikely turn of events that came about in the last 10 minutes of play, YES.

Great, so now we have proof that the nfl is fake...I mean, how could "The Catch", "The Drive", "The Immaculate Reception", and many other classic plays have just happened?! Elway could never win the big one, and then, what do you know, they pull one out. No way could the rams (and warner) have just come from nowhere to surprise everyone like that-and then they dont even make the playoffs next year <edit> doh! I'm a bit tired...they did make the playoffs, but didnt advance...still, i think that there are plenty of other examples of famous NFL plays, series, and games that would now have to be "fake" </edit>: what a great script. Had me on the edge of my seat.
The XFL, regardless of the quality of the players (crappy, for lack of a better word), is NOT fake..you cant fake a guy catching a ball, throwing a pass, etc. And Vegas would not allow bets on a staged game...plus, too many legit people (dick butkis) are involved, and they would never join a fake football league.
As for the annoucing...yes, it can be kind of, umm, loud, for nothing..but thats expected-those people who watch raw or smackdown know that the smallest thing sets off a huge reaction from the announcers-that part IS staged-they are obviously told to be excited at all times, in an attempt to keep fan interest. i will admit, however, that they should tone it down on some of the more basic plays.
