Uruguay Vs Mexico is on. If the game ends tied, France is out, otherwise the loser will tie France in points.
I guess they better tie then
Yup.
And I guess I might be wrong- looks like it starts at 10am ET?
The coverage starts at 9:45. 2 games at the same time though
2:15 in the afternoon for the other 2
Weird that they would schedule it that way.
<tin foil hat> I am sure this has to do with cable/satellite providers wanting to sell more channels</tin foil hat>

they play the final games at the same time to keep the other teams in the groups in the dark about the scores so teams dont intentionally lose or not try and all that

Yup, although they end up knowing anyway LOL but its not the same thing as going into the game already knowing what you need to do
Its funny though that in most cases, the top 2 teams in the group just need a tie to go through... So they could even arrange it, I mean, why bother risking a loss if you can "win" with 0-0? Just stand there for 90 minutes and do something else
red card against France, down to 10 men!
Uruguay player Perez is gushing blood... Has to get off the field to be treated
