Only the anti's refuse to ever move past the year 2003.

Of course we're stuck in 2003, we're still dealing with the monumentally dysfunctional aftermath of it. Are we supposed to pretend it isn't happening even at this very moment?

no, just for once, instead of crying, bitching, and worrying about mistakes made in 2003, you could put some thought into solving the problems we're facing in the present and future... or, heaven forbid, become part of the solution!

just a thought.

ill put some very simple thought into solving our current problems.....

step one -- take the power away from the "leaders" who got us in this mess in the first place before they try to overcorrect the problems in Iraq via Iran.

Their resume doesnt give me the warm and fuzzies

Lets encourage Bush to Privatize.

That is, return to running Private Companies into the ground, and stay away from the largest "Public" one.

You don't understand. Because of the insane secrecy of the current administration it takes 2-3 years to uncover their wrong-doing. And if you don't wish to discuss the administration's unraveling rationale for war and how each accusation was either known to be wrong when they uttered it, or was proven wrong shortly thereafter you can always choose to stay out of the thread alltogether. I mean rather than thread-crapping like usual.

So you admit there were mistakes in 2003?

Can you please list them for us, because I would like to hear what YOU thought was a mistake.

As far as being part of the solution, I think the mere fact that we are talking about the mistakes of the past IS being part of the solution or are you too arrogant and close minded (i.e. Bush & Co.) to accept that LEARNING from your mistakes is a GOOD THING?

Simple - pull everybody out - keep a rapid deployment force at Doha.

Problem will solve itself after about 5 or 10 more years of Iraqi's killing one another. It is going to happen whether we are there or not. Until Iraqi's are not willing to take it anymore - it is not going to stop. Either that or the Shia militia's will crush the Sunni insurgents. A lot of innocents are going to die either way - but that cat is out of the bag anyway, thanks to Bush. Lets get out of the way - we're only delaying the inevitable at this point in time.

or the other anti's who still blame clinton for the mess we're in now.
neither of those shoes fit me... i know who started it, and they are certainly not American.

nor were they Iraqi.
no, they didnt "start" this either... but they're on the list. (it's a long list, and Iraq is just the second step...)

Second step?? Dude, now who needs his meds? Who the hell made this list? Is Italy on it? What about Portugal? Aren't they part of the Axis of Easels? Good thing Picasso's dead, otherwise dumbya would take him out...
Iraq didn't have ANYTHING to do with al qaeda or 9/11, I know that's like telling dumbya he's not doing god's work. But it's true, check out the 9/11 commision, someone from your fringe should finally believe it.
Good luck in Iraq, watch for friendly fire..

I wouldn't worry too much about Pale. By the amount of posts he makes, I think his greatest challenge is for his squad to beat the previous squads record of 1 ton of potatoes peeled per hour.
lol, not quite... we have contractors peeling the potatoes these days, and MRE's dont require it.

Wild guesses never work out!

I'm tired of your "anti" horsesh!t. I don't give a fvck if you believe the bastard in the WH lied or not but I and many others do. Report after report surfaces showing more and more signs of outright deception and all you do is spout rhetoric about "anti Bush" this and "anti Bush" that. The PNAC administration and their PNAC believers are full of SH!T, period.

Fvck the PNAC fanboys!

The bastards knew there were no WMD's in Iraq and also knew Iraq was absolutely no threat to the US yet they pounded the war drums to try to further their geopolitical idealogy into the ME and even that is failing. Not worth one single life or one single cent, period! :| Bush is a fvcking waste and should be thrown into the Iraq desert to wander and think about the crap that he's caused.

Sounds like the Murtha resolution.

Even Newt Gingrich (who was behind a lot of the ideology and supported the war 100%) is now trying to distance himself from the fvck-up that is Iraq and saying it's time to pull out.

A GROWING MAJORITY of the US population now think that Bush and the PNAC fanboys are full of sh!t. Let's see if the political capital of the liar and chief holds up on future issues, especially meddling in the rest of the worlds countries.

We've even seen two of the key PNACers recant and lament their ideology.

So is this meaningless to you Palehorse?

WASHINGTON -- The White House faced new questions Wednesday about President Bush's contention three years ago that weapons of mass destruction had been found in Iraq.

The Washington Post reported that a Pentagon-sponsored team of experts determined in May 2003 that two small trailers were not used to make biological weapons. Yet two days after the team sent its findings to Washington in a classified report, Bush declared just the opposite.

"We have found the weapons of mass destruction," Bush said in an interview with a Polish TV station. "We found biological laboratories."

Source

How many statements by Cheney, Rice and Bush need to be found completely and utterly false (sometimes afterwards, sometimes earlier) before you agree there was a systematic effort to exaggerate and hype the "intel" on Iraq and its alleged WMD programs?

hey genius, im not the "it's all clinton's fault!" type... as a matter of fact, my voting record is about 50/40/10 in terms of party.

GG.

And no, I dont believe that example shows intentional deception. IMO.

Would you go for total incompetence then??? How many coincidences do you need before you start to question the integrity of your CIC?

I had my fill of him just looking at his ANG service. We spent a million bucks training him to fly and when it got too inconvenient for him he just walked away from flying.

That's not intentional deception?

Oh no, I'm sure it's just a case of our war president being "misinformalized" and a victim of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing. Happens all the time, no big deal, nothing to see, move along now. Don't you know it was the MSM with their "drumbeat for war" that caused W to invade Iraq? I mean, if the media says you're gonna do it, and you don't, well you just end up looking like a big pussy.
