Dave, one day left in the year. Where is that $200 oil and $10 gas? Where are those $50 Feb oil contracts?

Where are your receipts that prove gas rose 30 cents in FL though you posted an article that stated that gas had dropped 34 cents?

Today those same stations have one at $1.55 and the other across the street at $1.65

12-31-2008 Oil falls below $39, heads for worst year ever

Oil slid below $39 a barrel on Wednesday, closing out its worst year ever after falling 60 percent, with a rapid reversal in the economic outlook having brought it crashing back from a mid-year record high.

Top OPEC exporter Saudi Arabia is set to cut oil supplies further in February, market sources said on Tuesday, potentially taking output below its agreed OPEC target.

With oil coming off more than $100 from a record peak above $147 a barrel in July, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries has announced its biggest-ever production cut of 2.2 million barrels per day to fight the price slide.

The group already has cut output three times in an effort to remove about 5 percent of world supply.

Fair enough, but if this thread is to have a semblence of meaning, why the continued tolerance of fallacious thread titles? Dave has been banned in the past, at least twice, for lying in thread titles, and as the "de facto" P&N oil thread, it seems strange that false claims about "gas prices rising" and all that are tolerated, especially when it's based on nothing but fantasy; others come in with specific links/proofs about how gas is still falling.

With that though, why are you allowing Dave to continue trolling this thread? He has yet to provide any kind of proof, constantly lies, and just is basically trolling around saying "gas will be $200/bbl and $10/gal by the end of the year". We are no where CLOSE to that, yet he still says others lie about it?
