NexGen (made as 586 processors, AMD bought them)
IDT (remember the Winchip? VIA bought them along with Cyrix)
The IBM chips were just Cyrix chips made under license. There was also another company making unauthorized chips... IIRC they were traditionally a chipset company... I recall seeing a bunch of their 386SX chips that weren't supposed to be on this side of the Pacific - but they were. Was it ULi?
