Wow, I am surprised to see that it actually matched the 9700pro in most of the benchmarks. If I was rich I would buy a GeForce FX 5600 Pro and mount them on the wall next to voodoo cards

it looks pretty neat to me.

i spend all day at work tryn to mod things in all the computers. this is just another addition.

and btw with the pci thing. i only use 1 pci card cause everything freakn board you get these days has onboard everything.
so who cares how many pci cards it takes up.

Oh yeah, and a RAID card or whatnot. Still, it's not going to kill you to lose a slot.

Is it a new thing for card to require power? I notice that you have to plug this in to your power supply like a hard drive does? When did companies start this?

3dfx was the first back with the Voodoo 5's, but both ATI and nVidia are using external power connections nowadays.
