Online Game Chracter Names

What do you guys think are some sweet names to use, especially with MMORPGs that has a nice ring to it. Nothing like l33t or whatever, but something that people would remember your name. A sweet name like Bruce Wayne (I just saw Batman Begins), that name just has a lot to it.

I choose Stokes awhile ago cause it just sounded cool I thought, but I wouldn't mind find a new name that I could stick to for awhile. Any ideas?

Everyone I've ever seen really really really overuses Japanese names. They sound good, but just tossing any 2 names for a first/last combo sounds crappy.

That being said I used SureShot for a while because it was pretty appropriate for CS back when I used to be really fvcking good.

i always like to make up "medevil" names... you know, names that sound like they'd be epic in a JRR Tolkien book

I use Jerun for all RPG's, and TechKnight for FPS's. Kyuubi and Crono I use if they are available.

I'm always "Gurck" in MMORPGs, preferably a Troll Shaman.

I tend to find names of obscure Celtic deities for my characters. They usually sound cool and I like them that much more when I can find a deity that somehow fits my character.

My screen name for WoW has been Phildo. It might not sound cool or scary, but I make people fear it. (Rank 11 pvp, 5 parts of epic warlock set)

In Shadowbane my brother's name was Fip Drastic. And for a centaur his name was Fipslittlepwny.

I typically go by MagnusKainen, GerminVermin, or SilverKriss.

WoW name is Xanadu dwarf warrior.

My first online name for game use was back in the mudding days. I WANTED to use Vicar of Viscera for my name back then.. but it was too long. Heck some games today still limit that. So I then came up with an adaption for the name I wanted and went with Viscar. Used that for years even into EQ. Then I could go with alts and the next name I've kept was Anaskari. Was similar to some Egyptian name I liked.

I've kept those names for pretty much forever. However, those are gaming names. For forums I go with humblepie or DocGiggs for geek forums. For my anime forums I go with Kagekishi... or shadow knight in japanese. Which I used in EQ2 as my shadow knight name

Lately tho, for guild wars I've played a few female based chars instead of male ones so I had to come up with female names I liked. Currently using Pomme De Sang for my main character and "something" De Sang for any other character to keep with the naming convention.

So basically, if it's a male fantasy charactr I go with Viscar or Anaskari. If it's a public forum, DocGiggs or humblepie. If it's something Japanese related then Kage*something*. That's it.

Man that was a waste of space to type that all out... guess I'm really bored at work today and sleepy from watching the crappy spurs game last night.

Man, I'm pretty boring, I just use Spike or [UW]Spike for any game I play. Not very inventive but it works well

Quixfire is the primary name I use and after than I have list of medival and Celtic names I use.
