Thanks for the coupon info. I did not realy need anything so I just picked up another antec sx830 case and 2 belkin gel filled wrist rests for 76.00 to the door. I will have to use oven mitts soon to hold my credit card

apparently onvia.com set's a different price for every shipment of drives they get. If they don't have the IBM 30gb 75gxp drive in stock, i'd be very surprised because when they say "in stock" well, at least for my last 20 or so orders, they really will have it in stock.
My roomate has an IBM 75gxp 30 gb drive but for some reason his drive is more quiet than mine. I bought the 75gxp when it first came out and my roomate just recently bought his. Both were from buy.com

Quickfingerz: thanks for the info... I got a Quantum 30gb drive for a new linux server I'm putting together for my home SDSL serving. Unfortunately the linux-ide patches have problems with the Quantum drives so I decided to get what I use at work - the 75GXPs... I love the IBMs. Quantum is doing well in my desktop so everything came out well except for my bank statement ...

Odd about the different noise levels too.

(oh, before someone jumps in, there are some ways of getting the quantum drive to work properly with linux-ide patches for performance but you'll have to read the source and use an append, I didn't catch this info until after my order but I'd rather go with the IBM in my server anyway)

Onvia is up again. Bought a Yamaha YSTMS50W and Voodoo 5. I didn't want the hassle going with Staples to save 3 measly dollars. I wish they sell DVD movies.

Things to buy.
Yamaha YSTMS50W speakers or Altec Lansing ACS 48. Both are below $100 so add an Ide cable or something to get you over.
Voodoo 5 5500.
Toshiba 12X DVD drive.
Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router.
or Netgear RT314 Router (I would go for the Netgear myself, but make sure to update the firmware.)
