From all I've read, it's the same chip, and possibly runs at lower voltages. If I were to buy again, I'd pick up the 3110 instead.

Well, that didn't work out. I went through with it thinking it's better to ask for forgiveness than to get permission but their checkout page is borked. I sent them an email but think now after all this hassle, I'm just gonna cancel.

I know this thread is a little old, but i grabbed one from there, same OEM one too. I'm excited to see what my motherboard/AC Freezer 7 will allow me to get it to.

And its 190.46 after shipping.

You know what's funny? I get a lot of people begging to use PayPal accounts and whatnot, because that's how they "hide" purchases from their wives Some of the e-mails / requests I've gotten are absolutely hysterical.

how well do both of them overclock?

They can both POST just over 4GHz. One is stable at around 3.8GHz on an Asus P5K-VM which won't give it many volts. The other one was just POST-tested on an Abit IP35-E and not stability tested.

When I had my E3110 from tankguys, it did 4GHz fairly easily but I wasn't happy with it. The person who bought it from me ran it at 4.5G for a while then backed it down to 4GHz for long term.
